Ahmaud Arbery's mother says, since her son was killed, the people who took his life
also deserve to lose theirs ... at the hands of the State of Georgia.

Wanda Cooper-Jones tells TMZ ... she would like prosecutors to seek death penalty
sentences for Travis and Gregory McMichael ... the two men charged with Ahmaud's
murder.

We spoke to Wanda Tuesday a!ernoon for TMZ Live ... and asked her if capital
punishment was appropriate in this case. As Wanda put it, "Coming from my point of
view, my son died, so they should die as well."

There may be several circumstances in this case that would allow the prosecutor to
seek the death penalty, including this provision of Georgia law ... the death penalty can
be sought if "the capital o"ense was outrageously or wantonly vile, horrible, or
inhuman in that it involved torture, depravity of mind or an aggravated battery to the
victim."

IN COLD BLOOD

Wanda told us she's already spoken to the newly appointed prosecutor, Joyette
Holmes. During our interview, Wanda's attorney, Lee Merritt, didn't want her to
disclose too much about her conversation with Holmes.

But, watch ... Wanda did make it clear she's confident she and Holmes are on the
same page when it comes to getting justice for Ahmaud.

 Sophie Turner's not hiding it anymore -- she's pretty pregnant ... which she casually
revealed on a walk with her hubby, Joe Jonas.

Up to this point, the baby rumors have been swirling ... but the cat's out of the bag a!er the
married couple was spotted strolling in L.A.

Sophie and Joe both had masks on and held hands as they ventured out for some fresh air,
but what everyone's more fixated on -- her blossoming baby bump.

She was also spotted out with Joe a couple days back in a loose-fitting, men's button-up
dress shirt ... so it's starting to add up. There were also reports earlier this year she was
pregnant, but no word from the couple.

making what some might consider a valid point.

He writes, "@nokidhungry rather take food out the mouth of these innocent children I never
seen something so cruel." While you could argue No Kid Hungry is standing firm on their
principles -- which many might find commendable -- others could equally argue back that
money is money, and if the guy wants to fork over a bunch for a good cause ... why not just
take it?

his attempted donation, and their reasoning is telling.

The org says, "We are grateful for Mr. Hernandez’s generous o"er to donate to No Kid
Hungry but we have informed his representatives that we have declined this donation. As a
child-focused campaign, it is our policy to decline funding from donors whose activities do
not align with our mission and values."

In other words, it doesn't sound like they wanna be a"iliated with anything Tekashi reps or
has repped in the past -- and as we've seen ... that encompassed a lot of alleged
wrongdoing. Bummer?

Tekashi 6ix9ine's glorious return to social media paid him handsomely and then some -- but
he ain't keeping all the dough for himself ... the dude's giving back to kids in need.

Sources close to the rapper tell TMZ ... the release of his new song, "GOOBA," as well as the
launch of some new merch that he promoted on IG last week has le! him with a small
fortune on his hands in the amount of about $2 million, which he made in less than a week.

We're told Tekashi raked in a solid mil in just the last few days alone. Rather than hold on
to all the cash, or put it it the bank for a rainy day -- our sources say 6ix9ine's planning to
donate 10 percent of his haul to hungry families who are struggling in the pandemic.

helps dole out money to families that can't a"ord to feed themselves or their little ones --

Tekashi's hoping his donation will help in that cause -- and, frankly, it's a really nice gesture
and a nice pendulum swing a!er his wild, and not so smart, weekend activities.

Here's hoping it also serves as a sign to come for 6ix9ine in general -- give and you get,

"So, in 8th grade, I was playing in middle school and I was number one in the state," Marcus

Marcus says the worst part is always having to live under the assumption that people are
always wanting something from him -- whether it's sneakers or a connection -- but says that
one negative is outweighed by all the dopeness.

2:14 PM PT -- Okay, some clarity on the move from The Sports Academy ...

Now, the TSA says the decision to remove "Mamba" from the name was a "mutual
agreement made in accordance with the wishes of [Kobe's] estate."

TSA doesn't explain why Kobe's estate wanted "Mamba" out of the name -- but it makes a
lot more sense.

In other words, if Vanessa asks you to remove the name, you remove the name.

The Mamba Sports Academy says it will honor Kobe Bryant's memory by removing the word
"Mamba" from its name forever.

And, if you're confused ... you're not alone.

Kobe partnered up with The Sports Academy (a youth sports training business) in 2018 --
which led to the name change "Mamba Sports Academy."

Kobe was very involved with the Academy -- and was traveling to a MSA facility in Thousand
Oaks, CA with his daughter, Gianna, and several other people when their helicopter crashed
on January 26.

Now, Sports Academy founder and CEO Chad Faulkner says the company will make
significant changes as a tribute to the NBA legend.

 "Today, with respect for an unparalleled legacy, the Academy will retire the 'Mamba' in the
Mamba Sports Academy name -- to raise it to the ra!ers, where it belongs," Faulkner said in

Faulkner expanded on his decision to ESPN's The Undefeated ... saying, "Our beliefs and
thoughts are Kobe is one of one. 'Mamba' is one of one."

"And with that as we carry on as The Sports Academy, it's more appropriate to put Kobe in
another Hall of Fame, if you will, and to really respect a legacy that is really unrivaled,
frankly, and let that live on its own. We will continue to do the work we do."

"We were fortunate to learn from Kobe. We will carry on much of those learnings that we
have in a respectful way."

Of course, there is another school of thought that Kobe would want the Academy to use his
name because it would help to attract more young athletes ... but clearly Faulkner doesn't
feel that way.

The Sports Academy has already changed its website to reflect its new name -- and says it
will make changes to signage at its buildings in Thousand Oaks and Redondo Beach.

 LAPD is releasing body cam footage of a brutal arrest ... showing an o"icer unloading punch
a!er punch a!er punch on a man accused of trespassing on a vacant lot.

The April 27 arrest made national news last week thanks to a citizen's video of the incident,
but now we can see and hear everything leading up to the arrest. Two o"icers responded to
a call for alleged trespassing, and at first the man -- wearing an Eric Dickerson Rams jersey -
- le! the lot without incident.

Once the man was on the sidewalk, though, things got heated. The o"icers told him to leave
the area, but he refused, saying he was doing nothing wrong because his family lives there.
It quickly turned into an argument as the man said, "What the f**k you gonna do, my boy?"
... and the o"icer told him to assume the position.

over Zoom about reopening the economy ... and whether it was wise to do it so soon, like

Ahmaud Arbery's family and legal team know who they want punished for the killing of
Ahmaud ... they want everyone involved with the case, from the accused murderers to law
enforcement held accountable ... and they have specific punishments in mind.

Ahmaud's mother, Wanda Cooper-Jones, tells TMZ ... "We want all parties involved to go to
prison for life." She says this includes the 2 current murder suspects -- Gregory and Travis
McMichael -- along with the man who recorded Arbery's slaying, William "Roddie" Bryan.

Wanda tells us she and Ahmaud's legal team believe Bryan was involved in the fatal
incident, but as we reported ... he claims he had nothing to do with it. However, he has
not explained why he was recording.

For his part, Ahmaud's family's attorney, Lee Merritt, wants everyone involved in Arbery's
death convicted and "appropriately sentenced."

Merritt believes Bryan should be prosecuted along with the McMichaels ... "because he
actively participated in the ambush according to previous statements by the McMichaels” and
“because our forensic expert says that he was likely holding and brandishing a firearm."

Merritt adds that for justice to be done, members of the Glynn Country Police Department
who initially failed to investigate Arbery's killing and make any arrests need to be held
accountable.

 He's also going a!er Jackie Johnson and George Barnhill, district attorneys involved in the
case, for allegedly mishandling it at best ... or committing prosecutorial misconduct at worst.

Merritt tells us he believes Barnhill specifically should be disbarred by the Georgia State Bar,
as well as removed from his position as District Attorney ... because of his role in both
withholding information and actively attempting to taint the jury pool.

A new lead prosecutor has been appointed to the case by the Georgia Attorney General --
Joyette Holmes, the district attorney of the Cobb County Judicial Circuit.

Ahmaud's mom tells us Holmes called her to introduce herself and let her know she is
taking over. Clearly, the expectations for her from Arbery's family are high.

There's a new kind of tunnel at the U.S.-Mexico border, and it's got nothing to do with drug
tra"ickers ... but rather, a fresh new approach to warding o" the novel coronavirus.

Travelers crossing the border from Arizona into Nogales, Sonora are being greeted with a
"sanitizing tunnel" ... which looks and operates like a human car wash for COVID-19.

As you can see ... a!er going through a port of entry, drivers and passengers are ordered out
of their cars so they can walk through inflatable tunnels on the side of the road, erected by
the local government.

Mexican o"icials call them "sanitizing tunnels" ... and they operate by spraying people with
disinfectant. A!er the germ-killing gauntlet, drivers and passengers climb back in their cars
and continue on their merry way.

The process takes less than a minute for each person and the spray uses something called
Biozinc, which according to Mexican health o"icials, protects against infection for up to 24
hours.

So, why the new tunnels ... Nogales mayor Jesus Antonio Pujol Irastorza says many local

Mike Pence can't mask the message he's sending by repeatedly defying mask guidelines --

This is absolutely crazy, especially when you consider the VP was in close contact with Miller
recently, and Dr. Tony Fauci -- who had less direct contact with her -- is in a modified self-
quarantine as a safety precaution.

Yet, it seems Pence is more about following Trump's lead and flouting CDC guidelines
regularly in a show of defiance, or perhaps in an attempt to show strength. Trump, of
course, didn't wear a mask Monday at the Rose Garden either.

Earlier Monday, a WH memo to sta" pointed out that the CDC encourages the use of facial
coverings when social distancing is not an option ... such as at The White House.

Therefore, it stated ... "As an additional layer of protection, we are requiring everyone who
enters the West Wing to wear a mask or facial covering."

"Everyone" is apparently open for interpretation in the Trump administration. Pence has
already demonstrated this concept at the Mayo Clinic, though ... so we should have known.

Oprah quietly performed a super-kind gesture ... calling Ahmaud Arbery's mother to pay her
respects on what would have been his 26th birthday.

Ahmaud's mom, Wanda Cooper-Jones , tells TMZ ... Oprah personally reached out Friday,
o"ering condolences over her son's murder and wishing Ahmaud a happy birthday.

 Wanda says she was in disbelief when she answered the phone to find Oprah on the other
end. She's still not sure how O got her number -- O's got her ways -- but Oprah said she was
thinking of Ahmaud's family on what should have been his special day.

Oprah also told Wanda she hopes the family gets justice, but stopped short of saying what
she thinks justice would be. Wanda also says O was happy Ahmaud's murder suspects,
Gregory McMichael and Travis McMichael , were finally arrested.

Oprah's not stopping with a cordial call ... Ahmaud's mom says she's sending something in
the mail, but the contents remain a mystery.

WALKING FOR AHMAUD

O and her family also walked 2.26 miles Friday to honor Ahmaud on the day he would have
turned 26.

As we reported ... lots of celebs showed their support for Ahmaud by walking 2.23 miles,
which represents the date Arbery was shot and killed while jogging in Georgia on Feb. 23.

Ahmaud's mom tells us other celebs have reached out in an outpouring of support in the
wake of her son's murder, which she calls "a senseless act."

Wanda says Gayle King called and o"ered kind words Thursday, and Rev. Jesse Jackson
called and told her he wants to visit her and Ahmaud's family when it's safe to travel again.

Rest easy everyone, quarantine is not changing Jason Momoa -- he's still ripped, still going
shirtless and still making ya laugh your ass o".

"Aquaman" earned a bunch of drooling and LOL emojis by flaunting his bod while trying to
teach his son, Nakao-Wolf, how to throw no-look tomahawks. Keyword: trying, cause it's
pretty clear Jason's also letting his comedy chops fly, and wife Lisa Bonet, who appears to
be filming, can't contain her laughter.

You can see in the video Jason hilariously giving his son some solid at advice on how to
master the no-look method ... with one tiny warning, "Just make sure no one is walking in
the way."

His blooper reel includes him throwing a series of tomahawks including one he's dubbed the
Mohican 2000. Jason starts by staring into the camera but then keeps his eyes there as he
launches the 'hawks. He advises, "It's all about arrogance" before badly missing on several
of his throws.

But, the "Game of Thrones" star doesn't care cause even if it sounded like one hit the
ground "it didn't cause I never saw."

Miami, where she threw on a bright orange sports bra with a black hoodie hanging o" her
arms ... and some tight short-short denim cuto"s which showed o" her killer legs.

Vera's midsection is also exposed, and she must have an all-access pass to the fountain of
youth. She doesn't appear to have a wrinkle on her body anywhere. Mind you, she's going
on 71 next month. Nice body of work to be toting around at that, or ANY age!!!

BTW, VDub does this a lot with new styles she's working on or wants to highlight ... o!en
serving as her own model to show o" what she likes. And, considering she's still got a very
modelesque figure ... ya can't blame her.

A Hilton hotel thinks it's smarter than a bunch of 5th graders -- its allegedly trying to rip o"
a Florida class, but their school is fighting back with its allies ... Kodak Black and his
attorney.

Here's what happened ... 5th grade students from Pinewood Elementary School in Florida
raised $17k by selling candy and washing cars for a field trip to Washington, D.C. The week-
long trip -- slated for mid-March -- was planned and booked well before the coronavirus
pandemic hit.

But, once the virus was ravaging the nation, the school canceled the trip and tried to get a
refund for about a month, from Homewood Suites by Hilton for their 30 rooms. Kodak
Black's lawyer, Bradford Cohen, tells TMZ ... he's repping the Parent Teacher Organization,
which got the runaround until the hotel's director of sales sent an email about a he!y
cancellation fee of $20,612.

Hilton added, "Since we already received payments of $17,931 [your] balance is $2,681. We
will use the credit card we have on file unless noted otherwise." Pretty crappy deal, right?!!?

We're told the principal got involved, and last week, Hilton finally refunded $7k to the kids.
Of course, that means it kept $10,931. Hilton says a portion of that could be credited to the
class IF it comes to D.C. later this year ... which, of course, is highly unlikely. So, the kids are
out $10k.

Enter Kodak. Bradford, who's working pro bono, says Kodak grew up close to the school ...
and is willing to pay for the class trip, if Hilton keeps their money. It wouldn't be the first
time the jailed rapper's stepped up for kids in that area.

We've reached out to Hilton for comment, so far ... no word back.

The shark that killed a California surfer was probably feeling really comfortable in those
waters, thanks to the recent absence of humans ... according to wildlife biologist Forrest
Galante.

The Animal Planet star tells TMZ ... shark attacks are always a case of mistaken identity as
they hunt for seals. Forrest says this shark probably hadn't seen a surfer there in ages ...
setting the stage for the fatal mistake.

As we reported ... a 26-year-old Ben Kelly was attacked and killed by a shark while catching
waves Saturday o" the coast of Santa Cruz County.

A photog for KRON-TV in the Bay Area said he spotted 15 great whites swimming near shore
the day of the attack, and has been seeing lots of sharks near shore recently.

Forrest says the increase in shark sightings makes sense ... because with most humans in
quarantine and less folks venturing into the ocean, sharks are hunting in areas previously
packed with people.

We've seen animals starting to reclaim their habitats as humans shelter in place -- from
squirrels overrunning a Santa Monica park to goats overrunning a town in Wales ... and
the sheep roaming free on an English golf course.

Forrest says sharks are acting just like land animals ... setting up shop in areas previously
frequented by humans, which is what he thinks happened to Ben.

California's set to reopen even more beaches for surfing and swimming this week -- so,
Forrest told us if there's any reason to be more afraid of entering the ocean.
