Central Theme (Essence) of Tattvartha Sutra:
Tattvartha Sutra (Tattvarth-adhigama-sutra / Moksha-Shastra) is a unique Jain scripture
written by Acharya UmaSwami around the 2nd Century. In aphoristic form, almost entire
Jain doctrinal system is in 357 sutras in 10 chapters. Hence ‘Agam’ too. It is scientific in
the sense that acceptability of the principles are borne out by the nature of reality.

In ancient Jain philosophy, the study of Astronomy (Stars, Planets, Universe…), Physics
(Matter, Atoms, Space and Motion and Time), Biology (Living beings, Microbes…),
Mathematics, etc. are extensively mentioned. Tattvartha Sutra deals with the 7 (9
Essentials – nav tattva) that forms the core of Jainism. It is said that reciting complete
Tattvartha Sutra is equivalent to fasting of 1 day. The spiritual composition start on the
basis that the worldly life is unhappy and miserable and the way to be truly happy is to
gain liberation (Moksha).

Rather than just competitions of marks & percentage, it must be knowledge focused. Mega projects
need to be done on exploring our ancient Gurukul system, books, scriptures, medieval Indian
Universities – Takshila, Comparative study of authors (own Land, Foreign), who have explored
ancient Bharat, based on right education must be imparted to our new generation.

The Purpose

Parents must know and share the importance of our great Gurukool System. All fields of education
have a foundation in Indian System. Chakras' Medical Science, Kautilya Arthashashtra, Meta-Physics,
Researches are showing that Sanskrit – is the most suitable language for s/w Programming.

Concluding lines of the purpose is in Muni Shri Kshama Sagar Ji words, ‘Knowledge comes from
purity of thoughts.’ EGO ruins the gained knowledge. We cannot learn the whole of JINVAANI MAA,
but must be humble in regards to Passionless Preceptors - Thy, Everything good is of wonderful
souls. Nothing mines. All bad is my own.

There is a great difference between Blind Faith and Right Perception. We

ये २८८ भेद क अथ पयाय को जानते है न पयाय को नही जानते !इस सू का यही योजन है !

substance which has a shape (the matter).

मन: पयय ान के वषय म नयम है क वह पी पु ल म  अव ध ान के


अनंतवे भाग को कु पयाय तक जानता है !

Subject Matter  - the scope of telepathy is the infinitesimal


part of the matter, which is the subject of clairvoyance.

योपश मक ान नही हो सकते !दो ह गे तो म त और ुत ान होगा! तीन ह गे
तो म त ुत अव ध अथवा म त , ुत मन:पयय ान होगा ,चार ान ह गे तो चार,
योपश मक म त, ुत,अव ध और मन: पयय  ान ह गे !पाँच ान एकसाथ नही
हो सकते यो क चार योपश मक है और एक ा यक े वल ान  है !

नकलता है क जब जस तीसरे गुण ान अथात म गुण ान म  होता है उस
समय उसके म त ुत और अव ध ान स यक और म याव दोन प होते है |
