Chhattisgarh PWD Soil Test Report

Calculation for PI shall made as follows:-
1. The Plasticity index is calculated as the difference between its Liquid limit & Plastic limit
2. In case of sandy soil PL should be determined first, When PL can not be determined, The
PI should be reported as Non-Plastic (NP)
3. When the plastic limit is equal to or greater than the liquid limit, The PI shall be reported as zero
