PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
An Education Intern in Mtendeli Refugees camp with experience in INEE Minimum Standards for Education,
Preparedness, Response and Recovery activities; developing and supervising the quality implementation of
education activities in Mtendeli refugee camp, ensuring adherence to donor requirements and regulations;
communication experience including organizing, conducting and leading monthly meetings with PTA,attending
by weekly team meetings, Writing experience through preparing weekly, monthly and donors reports per
described templates, and minutes; Socialization and participation experience including supporting and
monitoring extra-curricular activities including school clubs like school Baraza club, HIV/ AIDS club, Gender Based
Violence (GBV) club, Environiment club, sports and games club and Girls club as well as linking children to child
friendly space as a school club focal officer in Mtendeli refugees camp. Leadership experience by acting executive
ward in Kahama nh'alanga villagers in Nzega, Tabora through leading the ward residence, organizing meetings to
discuss ward development. As a secondary school science teacher in Akili Centre, TPC, Namwai, and Matolo
secondary schools all in Kilimanjaro region I had been improved the student performance in their internal and
external examinations like Mock and NECTA for form 1, 2 and 3 through preparing and delivering simplified
Chemistry and Biology material. Presentation, Guidance and Counseling experience including training,
supporting, awareness of, counseling and motivating Youth people on HIV/AIDS, Education and Ethics as a
mentor of EEMC ( Education and Ethics Motivation Club) in Mwenge Catholic University in Kilimanjaro.

ACHIEVEMENT

● As an Education Intern at Mtendeli Refugees Camp, I have improved an understanding of INEE program
and its implementation mechanism through reading Education documents, actual implementation of Education
program and mentorship from Education Officer under maximum support of DFID and UNHCR donors, also by
cooperation with partners like Save the Children, Plan International, NRC and DRC in Mtendeli Refugees Camp.
Also I have monitored the teaching and learning activities in Mtendeli Fundamental and Secondary schools
through inspecting the teacher attendances, lesson plans, and student attendances by working closely with
Community Outreach Worker, and learn leadership and management skills through full participation on
Education program activities in Mtendeli Camp and by learning online courses.
● As a Tutor at Akili Centre, have been able to improve science students ’ performance in Mock Examination
 As a Christian Youth Fellowship leader, have trained, mentored and encouraged secondary and college
students to raise their academic profiles and support students in understanding their purpose in life.
 As a Christian Youth Leader, have successful organized secondary and college students ’ capacity building
conference and seminars during the Easter seasons
 As a Christian Youth Fellowship leader, I have been able to serve the most vulnerable children living in
orphanage centers in Kilimanjaro region, by organizing youth groups fundraise for support

MTENDELI REFUGEES CAMP - Kigoma October 2019 - to April 2020

Key responsibilities include
 Performed classroom observations in Mtendeli schools by conducting regular school visits and compile
detailed report on weekly basis.
 Cooperated with M &E teams to insure data collection, analysis and compile assessment reports.
 Supervised incentive coordination team, setting goals and do close monitoring to ensure that goals are
achieved.
 Supported facilitation of professional development training to both primary and secondary school
teachers in Mtendeli refugees camp and prepare activity reports.
 Disgned appreciate education monitoring tools to enable easy collection of data,/information for
program feedback and evaluation.
 Supported distribution of scholastic materials in schools per distribution plan and prepared distribution
reports.
