Ketentuan Emergency Exit

Fire emergency doors in buildings with more than 3 floors must be equipped with at least 2 doors and meet certain design standards under Indonesian health ministry regulations. The doors must open outward, be at least 100cm wide, within 25 meters of all points, resist fire for 2 hours, have 3 hinges and a closer, an opener, a sign, fireproof glass, and be painted red. Further standards also apply regarding emergency exits.

HEALTH AT WORKPLACE

Fire emergency doors must be designed to be able to swing from any position until it reaches the open position. Some
provisions that need to be fulfilled by the door fires, including:
1. Each building or building is more than 3 (three) floors must be equipped with emergency doors at least 2 (two)
pieces.
2. The minimum emergency door width is 100 cm, opening to direction of the rescue ladder, except on the ground
floor open to the outside (page).
3. Maximum emergency door distance in radius / distance reach 25 meters from each person's position point in
one
4. The door must be resistant to fire at least 2(two hours).
5. Doors must be equipped with: a minimum of 3 (three) hinges,door closer, lever / legdoor opener (panic bar),
warning sign: " EMERGENCY EXIT -RETURNS BACK, and fireproof glass(maximum 1 m 2) placed in the upper half
ofleaf doors.
6. The door must be painted in red.
7. Further provisions regarding emergency exits followthe provisions stipulated in the standardrequired.
