AFFIDAVIT OF DESISTANCE

I, CRISELDA F. GARMA , Filipino, of legal age and presently residing at Barangay San
Bartolome, Mayantoc, Tarlac, Philippines, after having been duly sworn to in accordance with
law, hereby depose and state THAT:

1. I am the private complainant in Crim Case nos . 13- 20 and 13-56 entitled People
of the Philippines vs. Halden Garma , pending before Branch 68 Regional Trial
Court of Camiling, Tarlac;

2. After a careful evaluation of the facts and circumstances which led to the filing of the
said cases, I came to realize that it was due to misunderstanding and
misapprehension of facts ;

3. I am no longer interested in the prosecution of the above-entitled cases against the


accused and have put great importance on fact that he is my grandson and that
peace and harmony within the family is the best thing to consider;

4. I understand that when the this office allows the dismissal of the above-mentioned
cases, I can no longer file them against the same respondent/ accused;

5. The execution of this affidavit was not due to any price or consideration and that my
family and I, were never threatened, forced or coerced to sign and request the
dismissal of the cases;

6. I was able to understand the legal consequences of my desistance in the above


entitled complaint against the accused and despite such legal implications, I am very
much willing to withdraw and dismiss the complaints I filed.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I hereunto affixed my signature this 18th day of July, 2013 at
Camiling, Tarlac.
