1. Doing it with Dweebs, herein referred to as “Dweebs,” is seeking proposals for Dweebs
computer software training. This request for proposals (RFP) as intended, to define a
clear set of functional requirements as well as provide overall direction to proposers in
submitting a proposal that will be responsive to the Dweebs needs.
2. The resulting contract will be a firm price contract for a reasonable period at Dweebs
option. The anticipated effective date of the contract is June 2009.
3. Software training includes, but is not limited to Microsoft Office suite version 2007
(Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Access).
4. Submittals, in three copies, bearing the title "RFP for Dweebs computer training
services" will be received no later than 11:00 a.m., local time prevailing, on May 14,
2009 by:

5. Time is of the essence; any RFP or addenda pertaining thereto received after the
announced time and date for submittal it will be rejected. It is the responsibility of the
proposer for ensuring that their RFPs are time stamped by purchasing department
personnel before May 14, 2009 at 11 a.m.

6. This is also the designated time and place for opening the RFP. RFPs and/or any
addenda pertaining thereto received after the announced time and date of receipt may
disqualify your proposal from consideration. Nothing in this RFP precludes Dweebs from
requesting additional information at any time during the procurement process.
7. Authority to bind firm in contract: proposers must provide full firm name and address.
Failure to sign proposal by manual handwritten signature may disqualify it.
8. Cost of Preparation: Dweebs will not pay any costs incurred in the RFP preparation,
printing or demonstration process. All costs shall be borne by the proposers.
9. Rights to pertinent materials: all responses, inquires and correspondence
Relating to this RFP and all reports, charts, displays, schedules, exhibits and other
documentation produced by the proposers as submitted, as part of the RFP shall become
the property of the Dweebs After the RFP submission deadline.
10. Selection procedure: selection may be made of one or more proposers deemed to be fully
qualified and best suited among those submitting proposals, based on the factors involved
in the request for proposal. Negotiation then conducted with the proposers selected. After
negotiations conducted with the proposers so selected, the Dweeb’s Inc. shall select the
proposer, which, in its opinion, has made the best proposal and award the contract to that
proposer.

11. Basis for award: an award, if made, taking into consideration the factors set forth in this
RFP, to the responsible proposer whose proposal is most advantageous to Dweebs.
Dweebs will not use any other factors or criteria in the evaluation of proposals received.
Dweebs, as it deems necessary, may conduct discussions with responsible proposers
determined to be reasonably susceptible of selection for award for the purpose of
clarification to assure full understanding of and responsiveness to, solicitation
requirements. Information and/or factors gathered during interviews, negotiations and
any reference checks, in addition to the evaluation criteria in the RFP and any other
information or factors deemed relevant by Dweeb’s Inc., utilized in the final award.
12. Notice of award: letters to proposers informing them of Dweebs intent to enter into a
contract.
13. Contract approval: Dweebs board of directors must approve the contract resulting from
this solicitation. Dweebs will prepare a formal contract specific to this solicitation for
execution by the successful contractor.
14. RFP process: proposers are to submit written proposals, which present the proposer’s
qualifications and understanding of the work, performed. The proposal should be
prepared simply and economically and should provide all the information which it
considers pertinent to its qualifications for the project and which respond to the
background and scope of services and sections listed herein. Emphasis placed on
completeness of services offered and clarity of content.
