OUTLINE
FamioTM 5 is a basic diagnostic ultrasound system for
black-and-white studies that is provided with a 10.4-inch
liquid crystal display monitor. All functions required for
examination are provided in a stylish unit that can easily be
set up immediately before examination is performed.
FEATURES
• Integrated design
The transducers, acoustic jelly, and recording device are
all integrated into a single compact unit. When the liquid
crystal display monitor is closed, the system can be stored
in a small space and easily taken out when needed.
• Quick start-up
After it has been plugged into a wall outlet, the system is
ready for use just 10 seconds after the power switch is
turned on.
• Easy operation
With Toshiba’s unique palm controller at the center, the
operating switches are laid out to ensure outstanding ease
of use. Image quality can be adjusted in a single operation
using the IP (Image Process) dial. The use of a color liq-
uid crystal display monitor permits subtle gray-scale gra-
dations to be easily observed with the B-color function.
• Data management
An HDD filing unit can be installed in the main unit, permit-
ting the images obtained in an examination to be retrieved
and viewed immediately. In addition, connection to an
external PC via Ethernet allows image data to be trans-
ferred directly to a folder in the PC. (Optional in some con-
figurations.)
