C200 D5e Model: C220 D5e
Engine: QSB7-G5
Alternator: UCD274J
The following summarizes prototype testing conducted on the designated representative prototype of the specified models. This testing
is conducted to verify the complete generator set electrical and mechanical design integrity. Prototype testing is conducted only on
generator sets not sold as new equipment.
Maximum Surge Power: 188 kW Steady State Performance:
The generator set was evaluated to determine the stated The generator set was tested to verify if the steady state operating
maximum surge power. performance was within the specified maximum limits.
Voltage Regulation: ± 0.5%
Maximum Motor Starting: 865 kVA Random Voltage Variation: ± 0.5%
The generator set was tested to simulate motor starting by Frequency Regulation: Isochronous
applying the specified kVA load at low lagging power factor (0.4 or Random Frequency Variation: ± 0.25%
lower). With this load applied, the generator set recovered to a
minimum of 90% rated voltage. Transient Performance:
The generator set was tested to verify single step loading
Alternator Temperature Rise: capability as required by NFPA 110 and verify acceptable voltage
The highest rated temperature rise ( 163°C ) test results are and frequency response on load addition or rejection.
