I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation for Megan Belits, who is currently completing
her clinical internship at the fourth grade level in Harrington Park School, Harrington Park, New
Jersey.

Ms. Belits has demonstrated that she is a conscientious person who puts forth 110% effort each
day. Megan’s lessons reflect her understanding of the Common Core State Standards. She exhibits
an understanding of learning styles in the classroom and uses strategies that address this in a
focused manner. Daily lessons include direct teacher instruction, cooperative learning, guided
practice, and independent practice. She incorporates creative strategies to keep students engaged
and on task.

Megan is always dependable, organized, and responsible in her duties as a student teacher. Not
only is she eager to learn, she also welcomes professional challenges. I was not able to be in
school for three weeks due to a covid situation, and Ms. Belits took the reins seamlessly! She is a
true professional and is taking her role very seriously.

Ms. Belits is kind, patient, and compassionate towards all of her students. She is able to keep
children involved and excited about the information she is covering in the classroom. The children
truly enjoy and respect her.

I believe that Megan’s ambition and wholehearted effort will serve her well as she develops her
skills as a teacher. I highly recommend Megan Belits for a teaching position.
