Methodology

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the correlation of the number of units

required and the stress rate of a Silliman University freshman. The researchers suspect

that there is a correlation between the two variables. The researchers will be using a

quantitative design and conduct a survey to collect data since they will be using a sample

from the whole population due to limited resources. The survey will contain questions

that will give them data which contributes to the hypotheses. With the data they could

determine whether the hypothesis a or b or c is correct.

Since they focus on the Silliman University freshmen population then they will

get the sample data from the freshmen of the university. Due to the difference in numbers

of students in the courses, they will have to have an even number of students/respondents

we conduct a survey on for all the course (Ex. BSCE= 10 respondents, MedTech= 10

respondents…etc.).
