Progress Report

This memorandum provides a progress report on a shooting incident in Aloran, Misamis Occidental that resulted in the death of Pedra Penduco. Juan Dalisay shot Penduco in Purok 2, Brgy. Maular and she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital from gunshot wounds to the neck, head, and trunk. Dalisay was arrested during a hot pursuit operation but the weapon used has not been recovered. The suspect is detained at the Aloran Police Station as the investigation continues.

1. Reference. Spot report on Shooting Incident dated February 13, 2021.


2. This pertains to the Shooting Incident that transpired in Purok 2, Brgy. Maular, Aloran, Misamis
Occidental at around 3:00 in the afternoon of February 13, 2021. Be informed that the victim Pedra
Penduco, 23 years old, single, laborer and a resident of Purok 2, Brgy. Maular, Aloran, Misamis
Occidental was shot by suspect Juan Dalisay, 20 years old, single, farmer and a resident of the
same place. Said victim was brought to Misamis Occidental Provincial Hospital for medical
treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival.
3. The cadaver of the victim was moved to Regional Crime Laboratory Office, Camp Martin
Delgado, Fort San Pedro, Iloilo City for autopsy examination. The immediate cause of her death
was gunshot wound on the neck, head and trunk.
4. The suspect was arrested at his house during hot-pursuit operation conducted, but the weapon used
in the commission of the crime was not recovered and he is now under the custody, of this station
for investigation and proper disposition.
5. Further development will be sent to that office as soon as obtained.
