SUMMER PLACEMENT REPORT 2021
The Indian Institute of Management Raipur has successfully completed 100% Summer Placements for the
PGP Batch of 2020-22. The class of 260 students witnessed over 120 recruiters participating in the campus
recruitment process. The strong faith exhibited by the recruiters on the students of IIM Raipur during the
Summer Internship Process reinforces the growth of IIM Raipur's reputation. We thank all the stakeholders
involved, including recruiters, faculty members, alumni, students, and staff for ensuring such laudable
completion of the Summer Placement Season this year.
CLASS PROFILE OF MBA 2020-22
The batch of 2020-22 is a mix of students coming from diverse backgrounds with a good blend of freshers
and candidates with work experience averaging 20 months. The students’ yearn for excellence is evident
from their immaculate performance in various professional examinations and certifications like CFA, FRM
and Lean Six Sigma.

Key Highlights
The Indian Institute of Management Raipur takes great pride in announcing the successful conclusion of
Summer Placements for the tenth batch of its flagship Post Graduate Programme in Management. With the
batch intake of 260 students this year, IIM Raipur once again achieved 100% placement of its largest batch to-
date. In addition to the regular recruiters who have continued to show immense faith in our students for
building future leadership, summer placements also saw participation from more than 50 first-time
recruiters, reiterating the ever-increasing confidence that the industry has on the talent offered by IIM Raipur.

Placement by Industry
IT/ITES was the leading sector this season in terms of the number of offers made as the institute witnessed
many renowned IT/ITES companies offering diverse roles to the students. This year, many recruiters across
various sectors like Energy, E-Commerce, Ed-Tech and Logistics participated in the process which saw a
rise in the number of lucrative opportunities offered to the students by these industries respectively.
As IIM Raipur continues its journey to create the global leaders of tomorrow, the Institute would like to
express its gratitude to the corporate leaders who bestowed their trust upon the institute and its students.

The profiles offered to students belonged to various gender diverse batch the average stipend has
functional areas with Sales & Marketing being opted witnessed a 3.30% rise to Rs. 91,050. The top 10%
by 51% of the class, followed by Strategy & General of the recruited students earned an average
Management, Finance and IT & Analytics. With a 13% stipend of Rs. 2,00,958 while the top 50%
increase in the number of companies visiting IIM earned an average stipend of Rs. 1,16,574
Raipur as compared to last year and with a much respectively.

NATURE OF PROJECTS
The students of IIM Raipur pursued prestigious projects this year as a part of their Summer Internship
Program. The projects include Development of market strategy, Strategizing international expansions
for organizations, Risk management, Environmental scanning and growth opportunities, Development
of operational efficiencies, Using analytics to bring organizational transformation, Change
management and New product development among many others. The scale and the responsibilities
associated with these prestigious projects reinforces the faith that the corporate world has bestowed
upon the students of IIM Raipur.
