Accounts & • Introduce a standard model of accounting practice for

• Ensure compliance of regulations of Bangladesh Bank,

in preparing financial statements.
• Ensure income tax and VAT deductions where applicable
and deposit of the same to the treasury.
• Prepare chart of accounts showing split ups of receipts,
expenses, assets and liabilities.
• Undertake periodical checking of fixed assets and
reconciling current assets with the books.
• State in detail the functions and responsibilities of the
internal auditor and set up a financial and accounting
control system.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reports for internal
and external use.
• Assist and advise management on various financial,
accounting and corporate issues.
• Negotiate with company’s external auditor in matters
relating to policies, provisions and presentation of
accounts.

and suppliers.
