I will perform the Dance Steps of Folk Dance and the students will guess what is the step pattern and the name of that
Dance Step.
Abstraction
Dance Steps and Step Pattern:
1. Touch Step- Point, Close
2. Close Step- Step-Close
3. Hop Step- Step, Hop
4. Change Step- Step, Close, Step
5. Change Step with Arms in Lateral Position, R & L alternately- Step, Close, Step; arms in
lateral position, R & L alternately.
6. Change step in reverse "T" while doing kumintang clockwise- Step, Close, Step; arms in reverse "T"; turning
the hand from the wrist, clockwise.
7. Kuradang- Step, Close, Step cross,| Step, Close, Step, Point
Application
In every piece of paper, I will write the different Dance Steps. I'll call the students one by one and let them pick one.
they will perform the Dance Step that they picked

Folk dance brings a sense of pride to have a knowledge of our own dances that represent our cultural identity.
