D. Presentation of the Lesson
Based on the video that you have watched earlier,
what are the things that you have noticed? Are
there similarities on the dances?
Yes, Erica?
Yes, Sir some of the dances have
similarities.
What are those similarities?
There are similarities when it
comes to their props and
costume.
Great! Binislakan and Sakuting are using sticks in
their dance. Any other answer? What have you
notice on the dances? Yes. Robic?
Some of their steps are the same.
Very good. They are using same steps on their
dances.

dances have the same dance steps let us discuss
them one by one. Do you have an idea what are the
basic dance steps of those 4 folk dances? Okay
Trixia?
The basic dance steps are the
Padyak, Saludo, Arms in Lateral
Position, Set, Bend and Leap
We have 6 basic steps in performing those 4-folk

Before and after the dance.

Okay very good! In folk dance they perform

saludo or bow before and after the performance.
