Application for Masters in Control Engineering
One of the most important and crucial decision in anyone’s life is the
choice in His/her career; same was the case for me. My choice of
career has emanated from careful analysis and planning. With
thorough research and exhaustive pondering, I came to choose a
noble and a wonderful line of Chemical Engineering. My fascination
for the course has been longstanding and persistent. After my
college I decided to pursue chemical engineering subjects, I had
constant urge to learn and explore, an ambition to become a
researcher, a desire to be part of growing technological world and to
contribute to its development. I drew the inspiration to imbibe the
true spirit of engineering studies in a prestigious institution. I am a
graduate from a well renowned university called Wah engineering
college affiliated with University of Wah, Wah cant, Pakistan.
As my awareness of various concepts of engineering knowledge
grew my zeal to understand them in greater detailed heightened. My
undergraduate course has provided me with a firm foundation of
the basic principles of engineering and in the courses of
Thermodynamics, Mass transfer, Heat transfer and other important
subjects which have provided commendable ground work for
advanced study.
During my time at my university I was involved in different
educational and extra-curricular activities. I not only participated in
many workshops but also organize them, one of them was New
horizon in chemical engineering.
I represented my class on different forum at university level for
two years as class representative (CR). In my final year, I did
internship at government office name Pakistan Ordinance Factories,
while doing internship I got not only vast and practical knowledge
but I learnt a lot of new things in terms of preparing reporting
analysis that reports and then give their own opinion.
During undergraduate career I went on different study tours to
industries across Pakistan. Where, I was acquainted with the new
practices of process control and safety measurements. During my
studies, I always kept balance between my curricular and extra-
curricular activities up to great extent. I have participated in
calligraphy, speech competitions.
I feel that getting education in a country other than one’s own is an
education itself. Living in such an environment with people having
similar goals and aspiration is an enthralling experience in one’s
academic life and is of considerable importance in one’s professional
career. It is an accepted fact, that education provided by Italian
Universities is of great excellence. If I can get Privilege to be a part of
such an intellectual community, I am sure, I can elevate my talents
and gain a lot in academia and extra-curricular as well. I believe at
University of Sapienza, students are provided with the best type
educational facilities, with the flexibility incorporated in its learning
system and exposure to the latest control technology.
Furthermore, the good reputation of high-quality education
standards, extremely distinguished faculty members, and research
facilities are the factors which have motivated me to choose Control
engineering at University of Sapienza.
Moreover, the university provides with the dynamic environment
which are in line with my field of interest. Apart from education, I
believe, I can learn a lot from Italian people and their ancient and
exotic culture. All these factors led me to apply for this program.
Being a prospective student for new challenging ideas, I believe that
an opportunity for higher education in Italy would be a unique
opportunity to test and prove my ability and also to enrich and
broaden my keen interest with transition to a new setting.

of Sapienza was ranked 171 worldwide which has been an
exceptional achievement for any educational institute. To be the
part of such a prestigious institute is the dream for most of the
students seeking higher education.
During my work experience of 01 years at a private institute, I
always intended to learn new things and develop new ideas. I was
always a great learner and a smart employee. I think, it will be a
great exposure for me in University of Sapienza, Italy. Exchange of
ideas, culture and facilities makes great developments. I am keen to
be the part of Institute in order to flourish my skills and gain useful
knowledge.
Finally, I would like to add here that my parents have always been a
source of inspiration to me. They have set personal examples and
ideals for me to follow. As a result of this, I believe that over the
years, I have evolved into a person who can easily fit into a team and
who appreciates the value of discussion and exchanges of ideas. I am
largely self-regulated and capable of independent work, given an
opportunity. Plus, I belong from a culturally diverse society of
Pakistan and I not only will learn but can promote culture of my
home country.
