About Saimo

Saimo commenced operations in 1993, and grew by establishing a joint venture with
Ramsey USA in 1994 based on equal shares, mainly specialized in developing,
manufacturing and distributing a wide variety of bulk measuring equipments, mechanical
sampling systems and belt conveyor protection devices.
Through years of dedication, Saimo has become the largest manufacturer of conveyor
protection switches, belt weighers, weigh feeders and sampling equipment in Asia, with
over ten thousand reliable installations worldwide covering a broad range of industries such
as coal, power, steel and iron, cement, harbor, chemical industry, food, etc.

The acquisition of 50% share from Thermo Ramsey in 2006 makes Saimo a 100% holding
company. Staffed by over 700 employees, today’s Saimo has established a global sales
network with its subsidiaries dotted in Australia, UK and Netherlands, on the base of the
46,000m2 manufacturing plant in China. Saimo has become the market leader in dynamic
weighing, packaging and inspection fields in China.
Saimo has successfully achieved annual sales at the level of 40 million US$.
Saimo was awarded it’s ISO9001 certificate in November 1998.
The Saimo Group manufactures a wide range of products including belt scales, feeders,
tramp metal detectors, conveyor protection switches, sampling systems, auger filling
machine, measuring cup filling machine, linear multi-head weighing machine, disc multi-
head weigher, belt weigher, metal detector, automatic check-weigher, X-ray detector,
sealing machine, coder, classification machine, conveyor, lifter and palletizers, etc.

and modern facilities.

Production Facilities
Saimo Technology is the largest production base for measuring and packaging
equipment in Asia. The production building in China covers a total area of 120,000 square
meters including structure workshop, machine workshop, assembly workshop and electrical
assembly shop. To meet our Quality Assurance measures, a wide variety of special
manufacturing equipment are utilized such as travelling cranes (5t, 10t), 5m vertical lathe,
digital-control plasma cutting machine, automatic welding machines, shearing machine,
lapping machine, 100mm slide block universal radial drilling machine and milling machines,
etc.
