Job Responsibilities:-
To continuously monitor and control to boiler and turbine operations as per plant requirement
Responsible for the startup, routine operations & shutdown of the equipment’s- Boilers/ Turbines and
its auxiliaries.
To maintain quality of water in boiler by adjusting blow-down.
To maintain steady and safe drum level as and when required.
To maintain safe level of water in deaerator.
To maintain constant pressure and temperature of steam to topping turbine for maximum power
generation
Responsible for proper working of cooling water pumps, IBD & CBD etc.
To operate sophisticated turbine like topper and low pressure turbine having different system of controls,
and hence to have a considerable understanding and judgment for power transfer and balancing of steam
power-load.
Planning of monthly/weekly /daily Erection/Welding of Boiler supporting structures, Pressure parts and
power cycle piping, as per program/Schedule.
Pre-assembly and Erection of Boiler supporting Structures, pressure parts systems like water circulation
system, economizer system, super heater system, de-super heater system, Re-heater system and power
cycle piping.
Erection of Boiler accessories & Mounting like safety valves, Soot blower and Boiler Drains and vents.
Preparations of Pre-Flushing, chemical cleaning and steam blowing with all temporary connection
arrangements in boiler and TG area.
Hydro test of pressure parts, Critical piping, power cycle piping auxiliary piping in TG areas, Gas leakage
test in Ducting, Commissioning activities of Boiler, Air Pre-Heater etc.
