Firstly, thank you so much for getting these plans. I hope the making process brings you joy and that you and yours will enjoy
this project for years to come.
Although some dimensions may be included, the reference pages are meant to be printed at full 1:1 scale, so you can measure
dimensions and check your cuts directly against the drawings. You can also adhere the full scale parts drawings to your
boards to provide an exact cutting guide.
To insure accuracy, print only this page first at 100% size, regardless of what size paper you are using. Test the scale below to
see if your printed page matches the ruler. Printers vary all over the world, so if the scale is printed a bit larger or smaller,
adjust your print settings by a small amount, such as 100.1% or 99.8%, etc., to dial in the exact setting.
Some drawings can’t be fit on a single page, in these cases the dimensions will be provided or the full scale drawing will be
split between pages with enough overlap to tape those pieces together for a full size drawing.
As with any project, the order of operations to cut and shape these parts can be done in multiple ways and with multiple tools,
hand or power tools. Always be safe, choose an approach based on your toolset and experience, and have fun!

Some details, like the slots for the tail
and rudder are best cut while the body
is still a block
These wings are identical, they
can be cut out together
The wings, tail, etc are all 1/4” material
for simplicity, easily adapted to
millimeters or other sizes
Many details are optional, and
give you a chance to be creative

The placement of the support struts can be vertical
or splayed, however you’d prefer.
Just mark out the placement so it is the same on
each side of the wings.
