I. What Is Submission?

Submission involves arranging oneself under the command of God rather than one's own desires. Christians should submit to various human authorities like governments, employers, parents, and spiritual leaders as they are appointed by God. While submission is important, it does not apply when authorities command something against God's commands as illustrated by Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refusing the king's order to worship idols. Overall, Christians should submit to all authorities as part of living a life submitted to God.

What if they are harsh? What if I think their decision were not right? (Proverbs 21:1)
 Honor them (1Peter 2:17, Acts 23:17, Acts 23:5)
 Pray for them

VIII. When to not submit?

 Its when the delegated authorities ask to violate God’s command.

 When that authority commands an action that requires the Christians to either
a. Not to do what God has command them to do
b. Do what God has prohibited them to do.
CONCLUSION:
As Christians, we ought to live a life of total submission to God and to his delegated authority.
For in such way, we proves that we are his children because we imitate the Lord Jesus Christ as He
submitted to the Father that He will be an atonement sacrifice for the sake of all people.
