 DESCRIPTION OF THE TOOLS

PLIERS:
 Two crossed metal limbs, hinged near their extremities, these forming jaws to grasp
objects, bend or cut wire.

DRILL:

 It’s a tool fitted with a cutting tool attachment or driving tool attachment, usually this
tool bit or driver bit, used for drilling holes in various materials or fastening various
materials together with the use of fasteners. The attachment is gripped by a chuck at
one end of the drill and rotated while pressed against the target material. The tip, and
sometimes edges, of the cutting tool does the work of cutting into the target material.
CHAINSAW:
 It’s a portable mechanical saw, powered by electricity, compressed air, hydraulic
power, or most commonly a two-stroke engine. It is used in activities such as tree
felling, limbing, bucking, pruning, by tree surgeons to fell trees and remove branches
and foliage, to fell snags and assist in cutting firebreaks in wildland fire suppression,
and to harvest firewood.

CHISEL:
A. Is a tool with a characteristically shaped cutting edge (such that wood chisels have lent
part of their name to a particular grind) of blade on its end, for carving or cutting a hard
material such as wood, stone, or metal. The handle and blade of some types of chisel are
made of metal or wood with a sharp edge in it.

SCISSORS:
 Are hand-operated cutting instruments. They consist of a pair of metal blades, or
tangs, connected in such a way that the sharpened edges slide against each other.
JIGSAW:
 It’s a tool used for cutting arbitrary curves, such as stenciled designs or other custom
shapes, into a piece of wood, metal, or other material. It can be used in a more artistic
fashion than other saws, which typically cut in straight lines only. In this way, it is
similar to the rasp and the chisel. Although a jigsaw can be used to cut arbitrary
patterns, making a straight cut freehand is difficult even with a guide.

COPRESSOR:
 It’s a mechanical device that increases the pressure of a gas by reducing its volume.
These tools are similar to pumps: both increase the pressure on a fluid and both can
transport the fluid through a pipe. As gases are compressible, this tool also reduces
the volume of a gas. Liquids are relatively incompressible, while some can be
compressed, the main action of a pump is to pressurize and transport liquids.

SCREWDRIVER:
 It’s a tool for driving screws and rotating other machine elements with the mating
drive system. This is made up of a head or tip, which engages with a screw, a
mechanism to apply torque by rotating the tip, and some way to position and support
the tool.
TRUCK:
 The truck is a tool used in construction, to carry from place to place materials
for the development of a building, such as sand, bricks, cement and
others, consists of a wheel.

MULTYMETER:

NEEDLE:

 The needle is an element used in the design of fashions, and with

SQUARE:

international system.

HANDSAW:

 The handsaw is used in the carpentry to cut or to divide a wooden
