Survival Kit You Can Survive.

I. Every Kit Should Include: 1. The best thing to remember is not to put yourself in a survival
* Instant body protection from weather elements situation - many times this can be done by proper preparation.
(Garbage bag, poncho, tarp) Good preparation should include:
* Instant energy food (candy, nuts, trail mix, protein bar) * Let someone know where you are going, your itinerary, and when
* A means of signaling (whistle, mirror) you expect to return.
* A means to start a fire * Be familiar with your area so you are less likely to get lost - know
* A means of cooking or heating water, or iodine tablets what direction you should head if you get confused and know the

* P- plan what you will do and in a priority order
