1. Physical Education develops students' competence and confidence to take part in a
range of physical activities that become a central part of their lives, both in and out of
school.
2. Individual sports are those played by one person . A dual sport is played by 2 people
against another set of partners. Individual Sports promotes a desire for physical fitness,
lifetime physical activity, and healthy leisure time habits through individual activities,
sports, and games. Dual sports reduce obesity and increase overall health and It can also
make you smarter.
3. In individual sports, Golf , Bowling and Tennis are the common sports. Golf is a cross-
country game in which a player strikes a small ball with various clubs from a series of
starting points. Bowling is a game in which a heavy ball is rolled down a long, narrow
lane toward a group of objects known as pins, the aim being to knock down more pins
than an opponent. Tennis is a game in which two opposing players (singles) or pairs of
players (doubles) use tautly strung rackets to hit a ball of a specified size and weight.
In dual sports, Badminton and Billiards are the common games. Badminton is a racquet
sport played using racquets to hit a shuttlecock across a net. Although it may be played
with larger teams, the most common forms of the game are "singles" and "doubles.
Billiards is any of various games played on a rectangular table with a designated number
of small balls and a long stick called a cue.
