SLAC on TEST CONSTRUCTION AND ITEM ANALYSIS
1. To address every childs’ need despite diversities “Test Construction
should be carefully crafted by the teachers so that learners will not only
input answers but most importantly, they’ll learn from the given
assessment. In line with this, ”Karangalan Elementary School will
conduct a LAC session on TEST CONSTRUCTION and ITEM
ANALYSIS on September 22, Thursday (Kinder to Grade 3) and
September 27, Tuesday (Grade 4-6) from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at ICT
Room (Primary) and Speech Laboratory (Intermediate).
2. This training aims to:
a. orient the teachers on the different assessment tools
b. discuss the alignment of MELC, TOS and DBOW in the development of
test items
c. develop test items based on the principles of assessment; and
d. quality assured test items adherence to curriculum requirements.
3. Training materials such as slide decks, video presentations, and performance
outputs shall be uploaded to the google drive for the access of the
participants.
