In addition, PE 1 (Basic Swimming) and PE2 (Advanced Swimming), which were originally included in the course offerings during the first year, are transferred to ‘second year course offerings and now labeled as PE 3 and PE 4 respectively. This is a curriculum modification, which is aimed to mitigate the spread of the contagion and to ensure learners’ safety. Accordingly, the previous PE3 (Dual Sports) and PE4 (Team Sports) are renamed as PE1 (Physical Conditioning) and PE2 (Physical Strengthening) to support mental, physical, and emotional well-being of the learners in the midst of the emergency crisis situation. The modified PE1 and PE2 comprise the course offerings for first year students effective AY 2020-2021. The Filipino was replaced by General Education electives in compliance with CHED on the Supreme Court decision on the removal of the said course and CHED new General Education guidelines.
