Crochet Platypus Pattern Guide

This document provides instructions to crochet a platypus toy using yellow and main color yarn and a size E-4 crochet hook. The body is worked in continuous rounds from the magic ring up. Safety eyes are added between Rounds 4-5. The bill is worked separately in yellow and sewn to the face. The tail and 4 feet are also worked separately and sewn onto the body. Stuffing is added to the head and body before closing off.

FINISHING

Flatten the bill and sew to the lower half of the face. Flatten the tail and sew to your platypus’s rear end, straight across
the center. Sew the feet to the bottom of the body spaced as shown.
