TASK 1

SCENARIO 1

1.0 Introduction

A disease is characterized as a physical or mental condition involving symptoms of

pain or feeling unwell, illness or tissue injury which might contribute to health problems.
Diseases may be acute come on dramatically, often short, extreme, serious or permanent
long-lasting with recurrent symptoms increasing from moderate to extreme but in some
situations, both. They are several common features of disease that usually happens to
people that faced that of serious disease which are multiple causality, with many variables
contributing to the origin, a lengthy duration of progression during where there may be no
signs, a protracted course of disease, potentially related to other clinical problems and
subsequent physical decline or inability. Then, a chronic or long-term disorder requires
needing to respond to the requirements of the disease and the medication that used manage
the illness. There may well be extra pressures, as well as the reason will work, view
yourself and react to everyone else may adjust with chronic illness. There are several types
of chronic illness that usually faced by certain people without measure the age of the
person which are heart disease, stroke, lung cancer, asthma and others. Nowadays, the
serious disease or chronic illness is very dangerous because since 2019, a new pandemic
happens in Malaysia and the world which is coronavirus in 2019. Based on the result of
patients, the coronavirus is easily affected people that have a chronic illness and sometimes
many patient’s coronavirus that have chronic illness background cannot survive to break
that virus because of their serious illness.

Based on the news from News Desk, they said that almost 80% Covid-19 deaths
had chronic diseases background. As an example, the number of deaths rose by this at
Kuala Lumpur Hospital on Wednesday like a 66-year-old Malaysian citizen with only a
history of heart disease and diabetes died. This takes the deaths to 84 in all. Heart failure
happens when the blood vessels does not really pump blood as fast as it can, often referred
to as congestive heart failure. Other disorders, such as the heart's shortened arteries like
coronary artery disease or elevated blood pressure, eventually make your heart too poor or
rigid to fulfill and function effectively. Not even all symptoms leading to heart disease can
be cured, but therapies may strengthen your heart failure signs or symptoms which allow
patients to live much longer. Lifestyle changes may help ease the pain such as exercising,
reducing sodium in yours diet, stress management and losing the weight. Based on the task
1 in the first scenario, Mr. X that faced chronic disease should doing something in order to
reduce their heart disease. This report will show the things that should be done by Mr. X in
order to reduce risk that will lead to heart attack in the future.

2.0 Prevention of Chronic Heart Disease

As we usually hear that “Prevention is better than cure” for the health issues. The
meaning of that statement is in the long term, it is better to stop anything bad or epidemic
before anything arises, escape something instead of just dealing with the repercussions and
fend off a tragedy instead of deal with everything afterwards. Before we discuss about the
ways to prevent the heart disease, we should know the causes of heart disease so that we
can refer a doctor if we have any symptoms of heart attack. The first symptoms of heart
attack or heart failure is congested lungs. Through exercise or trouble breathing at ease or
while lying down in bed, fluid support in the lungs may result in breathing difficulties. A
dry, coughing fever or panting can also be caused by lung irritation. After that, the other
symptoms are fluid and water retention. Too little blood causes fat and water accumulation
in the kidneys, leading in swelling knees, thighs, belly, also known as edema and excess
weight. During the nights, symptoms can cause an improved need for urination. A lack of
appetite or discomfort can be caused by bloating of the stomach. The last symptoms that
can detect before the patients attacked by heart failure or heart attack is fatigue and
weaknesses. Less oxygen helps you to feel fatigued and sluggish in certain main organs
and muscles. Less blood may induce tiredness or uncertainty in the mind.

The ways that should be taken by the patients or any person in order to reduce or
prevent the heart pressure or heart attack is the person should keep the blood pressure low
and keep maintain their blood pressure as good as they can. The activation of hormones in
heart disease allows the blood vessels to constrict or expand. In order to pump blood into
the limited arteries, the heart should work extremely hard. Keeping your blood pressures
regulated is necessary because the heart can operate more efficiently against additional
pressure. After that, the other ways they can be taken by the person in order to prevent
heart attack which is the person should monitor their own symptoms. Monitor the liquid
state for improvements by testing yourself regularly and watching for inflammation.
Whether you have unexpected weight rise, such as 3 pounds in a day or 5 pounds for a
week or whether you have excessive inflammation, name this. Next, the other ways to
prevent the heart attack is maintain fluid balance. People might be asked by the doctor to
keep notes of the amount of water that drink or eat, and how much you go in to the toilet.
Know, its most fluid you hold in your blood vessels, the faster your heart needs to move
through the body to remove extra fluid. Trying to limit the intake of fluid to less than 2
litres a day will help reduce the heart's pressure and avoid the recurrence of symptoms.

Last but not least, the last ways that should be taken by the person in order to avoid
from heart disease or heart attack is they should take the medications as prescribed.
Medications are being used to enhance the blood pumping capacity of the heart, minimize
heart discomfort, reduce the risk of heart disease, and avoid fluid accumulation. To reduce
the development of dangerous hormones, multiple heart disease medications are used. This
medication can induce dilation or relaxing of the blood vessels, thus reducing the blood
pressure.

In a conclusion, heart disease is a one of disease that should be avoid by every
people because when we have something serious disease, it can affect our life in the future
especially during this pandemic covid-19. As a human we should not only keep healthy

should don’t overdo something especially in pressure. Plan the procedures to have periods
of rest throughout the day. Any practices can aggravate heart disease and its symptoms,
such as moving or dragging heavy items and shoveling. Last but not least, the other things
that should get emotional support if needed. For the entire family, heart disease can be
hard. Ask the doctor or nurse whether you have concerns. Social services, psychiatrists,
counsellors, and heart disease supportive services are a phone call away if you really need
emotional assistance. Check with your doctor or nurse for the right way to point yourself
along.
