Better environment, Better tomorrow: Leveraging Students interest on environmental
change
Introduction
Humans exist on Earth but do not act in a humane manner. As everyone know and observe,
mother Earth is starting to alter its physical properties. These changes are the result of human
activity. Most people appear to be concerned about the environment. However, they are
unknowingly contributing to the planet’s deterioration. Practices such as pollution reduction
are undertaken in order for humanity to save an iota of the planet’s life but it will not be
sufficient unless everyone stands up and takes action for the betterment of the earth.Every
year, fun runs are held in the Philippines for a fee in an effort to preserve and restore lost
landforms and water bodies. Additionally, planting new trees is done to replace those that
have been lawfully taken down. A modest deed of kindness can have a significant impact.
April is designated as Earth Month. We Jrlians participate in this celebration because we are
students with faith, charm, brilliance, and service. We are born for bigger and better things,
which means we have the ability to affect changes throughout the world. Larger or smaller
efforts can both make a difference. They conclude that change begins within us. Change has
to come within us, Jrlian. I want to show off the environmentalist inside each of us in this
project proposal, not just me. No student, in my opinion, can tolerate studying in dirty
conditions. I think the students will start to act once this proposal is approved. There will be
campaigns and other activities to make the students more informed and conscious of the
world around them.
Purpose
As the project’s coordinator, I want Juan R. Liwag Memorial High School to be a better and
cleaner place for all of its students. I also want to let the entire student body know that
maintaining a clean environment will support their academic success at school. Of course,
everyone desires a pleasant learning environment. We can no longer bear to watch how
humanity obliterates the world. I want to contribute to the change as a member of the Jrlian
community. I’ll make a tiny contribution, or we will, to the endeavor to save the Earth. Even
if it does not significantly alter anything, at least we contributed to keeping our home. The
3Rs—reduce, reuse, and recycle—will teach students how to preserve the environment. One
approach to protect our mother earth is to plant trees. By doing this, we can avoid flooding,
garbage, and poor ventilation in the environment. During the cleanup campaign, we will
separate all the recyclable bottles from the non-recyclable and biodegradable ones. We will
clear the drainage system and get rid of everything that is clogging the water supply and
creating the flood. I really believe that if everyone has the desire to pitch in and create a
spotless environment, we may live in a place where green and clean are the only things
visible. In order to implement this project and reap its numerous benefits, let’s work together.
Keep in mind that by helping the earth, we also help ourselves.
Description
The goal of this project is environmental education. It is discovered that for the tree-planting
and clean-up drive initiative to be successful, student participation is crucial. Their
involvement necessitates an educational process that will teach them about their environment,
the methods for conserving it, and how to be encouraged to take part in our program to
preserve the environment. Since the project is aimed at Jrlian, they will be aware of the
significance of the environment from the start. We hope that by emphasizing street cleaning
and tree planting in Gapan, STEM students will understand the importance of treating the
environment with respect, making them better equipped to take on the responsibility of
maintaining it in the future. It also functions as a preventative measure against climate
change. One of the most crucial aspects of conserving the environment is keeping our
surroundings clean and planting trees. Additionally, trees can prevent soil erosion, enhance
air quality, aid in the fight against global warming, provide home for local animal life, etc. As
a result, trees are incredibly important and valuable. Since this would be a citywide activity, it
will also raise awareness among all Gawanese. Jrlian will launch the environmental
awareness campaign, which will later be seen by the whole public. Hopefully, they will also
feel inspired.
Support
I can’t start this project without the help of some students, the school admin and teachers. To
make sure that the project would succeed, we would need: broomsticks and dust pans, trash
bags, assorted seeds and plants, location of where we would plant the seeds, transportation. I
or even my co-students would ask for financial help from the school admin to support our
project. We can also raise a fund by selling products or merchandise to students.
