Instructions:

a) This is a group assignment consisting of MAXIMUM five (5) members.


b) The submission should be in the form stated in the tasks by using good English.
c) Each member of the group shall be part of the group’s video presentation.
d) Issue: Week 2 and Submission: Week 4
e) Submission of Softcopy Written Report and Video Presentation via platform as required by
respective lecturer

This coursework comprises of two parts:

PART 1: Write a REPORT on a Construction Case Law:

1.0 CRITERIA FOR CASE LAW


1. Must be ONE (1) Malaysian construction case law
2. The case must be either on the construction disputes on formation of
contract, validity of contract, terms of contract, discharge of contract or
remedies for breach of contract
3. All groups must have different case laws

2.0 WRITTEN REPORT should include as follows:


1. Name of case law – i.e., Plaintiff v Defendant
2. Identification of case e.g., MLJ 1 2006, CLJ…
3. Facts of the case
4. Decision by the court i.e., Held: ….
5. Conclusion and Lessons Learnt in accordance with Construction Law
6. References: Related Clauses in PWD or PAM or Contract Act 1950

PART 2: Present in the form of VIDEO about Construction Contract:
