“Person Deprived of Liberty” (PDL) are those: (1) confined in jail,

formally charged for any crime/s and awaiting/undergoing trial;


(2) serving sentence of imprisonment for less than one year, or (3)
whose conviction is on appeal.

The DSWD and its partner MSWDO Office and MHO as mandated
by law with developing, administering, and implementing
comprehensive social welfare programs aimed at improving the
living conditions and empowering disadvantaged children, youth,
women, seniors, people with disabilities, families in crisis or at risk,
and communities in needs, and its Core Values: a) Maagap at GIFT GIVING & MEDICAL OUTREACH
Mapagkalingang Serbisyo; b) Serbisyong Walang Puwang sa
Katiwalian; and c) Patas na Pagtrato sa Komunidad, which is also
for BAYOG INMATES
