Sarimanok Performance Task

This document provides instructions for creating a layered Sarimanok paper art project using crayons, scissors, glue, and folders. The art is made by coloring and cutting out 3 identical Sarimanok images and gluing them together with gaps in between to create a shadow effect. White glue is applied before layering the images and hot glue is used to stick the layers together while leaving space for shadows.

SARIMANOK PAPER LAYERING ART

Materials:

1. Crayon
2. Scissors / Cutter
3. White Glue
4. Glue Stick
5. Glue Gun
6. Used Folder

Procedure:

1. Color all the sarimanok images using crayons. Use the same colors you used on the identical areas.
2. Paste the 3 images in a used white folder.
3. Cut out all three images.
4. Apply a thin coat of white glue on top of the images then let it sit for a while until it turns to clear solid.
5. Glue sarimanok image 3 on top of image 2 and image 2 on top of image 1. Use hot glue to stick them together
but leave a small gap between images. Leave the Glue to cool down without flattening it. This will add a
shadow effect on your artwork.
