Performance Standard:
The learner transfers learning by composing a variety of journalistic texts, the contents of which may be
used in composing and delivering a memorized oral speech featuring use of properly acknowledged information
sources, grammatical signals for opinion-making, persuasion, and emphasis, and appropriate prosodic features,
stance, and behavior.

III. PROCEDURES
a) Routiniary Activities:
Prayer, Checking of attendance, Greetings and recapitulation of the past lesson.
b)Motivation:
Showing to the students the incomplete sentence, wrongly constructed sentence and correctly
constructed sentence and let the students compare it.
c) Presentation:
1) Activity-
Spotting the wrong/incomplete sentences posted on the board
2) Analysis
Realizing the principles in writing complete sentences through class/group discussion with
the students’ active participation.
1) Abstraction/Generalization
The students will construct complete sentences and rationalize it in front of the class.
IV. Evaluation
The students’ will be given a short selection and the students will place a period after each complete sentence.
They will complete each complete sentence and add the necessary punctuation marks..
V. Assignment
The students will construct at least five complete sentences individually

The students will find out the differences of reality and fantasy and compare its differences
through debate.

Clarifying their opinions/ ideas/ insights about the debate

A short quiz about the characteristics and elements of reality and fantasy.

The students will watch any type of movie and identify whether it’s reality or fantasy.
