1. Definitions of EPP (Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan).
Entrepreneurship, Information and Communication Technology (I.C.T.), Home Economics (H.E.),
Agriculture (AG), and Industrial Arts (I.A.) are among the subjects covered by Edukasyong Pantahanan at
Pangkabuhayan (E.P.P.). It is geared toward the development of technological proficiency and is based
on knowledge and information, skills and processes, as well as the acquisition of proper work values and
life skills.
Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan teaches students how to learn for the rest of their lives. It
focuses on mastering skills and processes, it is anemic and risky without the correct work values. A
successful E.P.P. is one that is based on human development's cognitive, behavioral, psychomotor, and
affective elements. As a result, teaching E.P.P. entails teaching all facts, concepts, skills, and values.
Because E.P.P. is a skill topic by definition, we teachers must engage students in a hands-on,
contextualized, and realistic teaching-learning process. It is a discipline in which students learn best
through hands-on experience.
