MINUTES OF THE MEETING
SATURN HRPTA Meeting
CARD-GIVING AND RECOGNITION DAY
November 12, 2022
The adviser presided the meeting and she started the meeting at 9:10
in the morning with 37 parents out of 49 expected parents.
The meeting was formally opened by a prayer through the adviser,
herself.
The adviser presented the following agenda:
a. Giving of Cards
b. Presentation of Academic Awardees
c. Merging of Section
d. Presentation of the New Schedule
e. Other Matters
1. Giving of Cards
She distributed the cards to the respective parent/guardian.
She encouraged the parents to look at the subjects with low grades
and help their children to give more focus on those subjects.
The parents found out that Mathematics was the subject that
their children got a low grade but still thankful that they had a
passing grade because they acknowledged that Math, really, is a
difficult one. Nevertheless, they made a promise to extend extra
help by letting their children watch video tutorials and by finding
tutors, those who can afford.
2. Presentation of Certificates to Academic Awardees
The teacher presented the 15 academic excellence awardees of
the class. Proud parents received certificates. The HRPTA President
requested if their children can also come next quarter to receive
personally, too, to receive their certificates for better
motivation. The body agreed to the request.

3. Merging of Section
The adviser opened the school’s concern on dissolving one
section within the grade level to be merged to the other five
existing sections. She emphasizes that even if the section will not
be dissolved, their children will have 1 day stay in the corridor to
for their ICL and to give way to the other section to stay inside
the classroom.
4. Presentation of the New Class Schedule and New Subject Teachers
The adviser presented the new schedule of the class. First
period will start 7:30 and will end at 5:00 in the afternoon. Since
the class is from the barrios, parents requested if their children
can be dismissed earlier in the afternoon because of the problem in
transportation and safety of the learners.
Changes in subject teachers were also presented. They have a
new teacher in Science and ESP.
5. Other matters
CLASS BEHAVIOR
The adviser asked the help of the parents in disciplining
their children. Most of the students are making unnecessary noise
every time and this is one of the problems of the adviser. The
parents promise to talk with their children.
VENTILATION INSIDE THE CLASSROOM
The parents requested that there should be enough ventilation on the
classroom and not be limited into four (4) units only. Their
children would often complain when they go home that it is very hot
in their classroom and cannot concentrate. The adviser said that it
is the Principal’s order to limit the use of ceiling /wall fan into
4 units only. The parents then requested the adviser to raise their
concern to the Principal, and they are very much willing to allot 50
pesos each learner every month to pay for the electricity.

CLASSROOM TABLE AND CHAIR
The adviser requested the parents to help in making the
classroom conducive in learning. Sir Napoleon Opsima , offered his
long table in order for the learners to use in the classroom.
The meeting was ended at exactly 10:15 in the morning.
