Using skin colored yarn, sew the inner mouth piece to the
**CONTINUE STEPS BELOW FOR SEW ON inside of the head around the opening made on RND 31 by
PACIFIER** matching up the 9 stitches and sewing all the way around

It is normal for the stitches to be wavy
on RNDs 26-29 but they will round out
after head is stuffed! CONTINUE TO RND 40

Eye Placement:

When placing the


eyes between
RND 35 & 36
there will be 5
visible stitches
between them,
and 2 other
stitches hidden
by the edge of
the safety eyes.

There should be a
total of 7 stitches
between the
eyes!

COLOR FOR BALD BABY. Change to desired
hair color if you want your baby to have
hair like image on pattern cover!!

Take a long piece of skin color yarn and your needle to


synch the eyes together to give it an indented
look.....Insert needle into stitch close to top of eye and
come out in same stitch on opposite side, put needle
back into the stitch closest to the eye on the next RND
down and come out in same stitch on the opposite
side, pull strings until you have the desired look. Tie
yarn into a knot and weave in ends.

After pacifier is made and sewn on where blue line is


imaging, the nose can be sewn using a long piece of
skin colored yarn and making several rounds around 2
stitches. Tie yarn in now and weave in ends. Place
nose where red lines are drawn on the image below—One row below and centered between eyes!

Hand/Arm (Make 2):
Start with skin color

RND 1: MR, 6sc (6)

RND 2: INC each st around (12)

RND 3-5 (3 rounds): Sc each st around (12)

RND 6: Bobble st, sc next 11 st (12)

RND 7: (2sc, Dec) x3 (9)

Start to lightly stuff!

RND 8-14 (3 rounds): Sc each st around

Change to shirt color!

Lightly stuff as you go....stop stuffing around RND 15.

RND 15-19: Sc each st around

F/O. Leave long end for sewing to body! Arms should be sewn onto the sides of the body and attached to
the last shirt color RND closest to the baby’s head!

Foot/Leg (Make 2): Skin Color


RND 1: Ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next 3 st, 3sc in last
stitch. Working on the underside of the foundation chain- sc in
next 3 chains, 2sc in last st. (12)

RND 2: INC, sc x3 st, INC x3 st, sc x3 st, INC last 2 st. (18)

Ear (Make 2): Skin Color


Make a MR---sc x2, hdc, Dc x2, sc, SL. Pull Tight.
F/O. Leave end for sewing!

Attach ears to the same row as the eyes but on


the sides of the head! Placement is your
preference!! I placed the ears 6 stitches back
from the eyes on both sides!

Pacifier:
Main Piece: Your color choice!

RND 1: MR, 6sc (6)

RND 2: INC each st around (12)

RND 3: Dc, (Dc, 3Tr, Dc) all in same st, sc, SL st, sc,, (Dc, 3Tr, Dc)
all in same st, Dc, sc next 2 st, 3Hdc same st, sc next 2 st. (22)

F/O. Leave long tail for sewing to face.

Middle Piece: White

RND 1: MR, 6sc (6)

RND 2: INC each st around (12)

Make loop: Ch 15, slip stitch into st on opposite side.

F/O. Sew to the middle of main piece using yarn tail.

Sew whole pacifier onto baby, 1 round under eyes in center as shown in image.

Beanie: Your color choice!
Work in Rows by SL at the end of each row and chaining up!

Ch 3 at the beginning of the Row counts as a stitch.

ROW 1: MR, SL into magic ring, ch 3 ( this counts as your first dc)
make 11 more dc into the MR. SL to top of Row. (12)

ROW 2: CH3, Dc INC in every stitch around. SL at top of Row. (24)

ROW 3: CH 3, (1Dc, INC) x12. SL to top of Row (36)

ROW 4: CH 3, (2Dc, INC) x12. SL to top of Row (48)

ROW 5-6 (2 rows): Ch 2, Dc in each stitch around, SL to top of


Row. (48)

ROW 7-8 (2 Rows): Ch 2, (FPDc, Dc top of next Dc) repeat until


end of Row. (48)

On Row 8 FPDc on the same FPDc as the previous rows to make a


ribbed effect!

Bow: Your color choice!!


Use same hook size as you used for the doll size chosen.

R1: MR, Ch 3, 5 Dc, Ch 3, Sl st, Ch 3, 5 Dc, Ch 3, Sl st. F/O.

Use ends to wrap and tighten around center of bow and tie into a knot!

Attach to doll by tying to hair or with a bobby pin!

Assemble all the pieces and enjoy!!!
