A few tips...
» Crochet in spiral! Head and body are made in 1 piece, starting from the feet up.

» Crochet as tight as you can! If you have holes in between the stitches, use a needle size smaller.

» Use stitch markers!

» When you think you stuffed enough, put in some more!

» Forming the model when stuffing, makes the perfect figure!

Let’s start with the legs

Start by taking the color for the shoes.

To start, make a magic ring.

Small tip before we start…

Attach skin colored yarn in the last stitch of the first leg (see pic a) through both layers of the legs and
make a SC in the same stitch. This is the new beginning of each round (it’s located at the back, at the
bum of the doll)

Now crochet the legs to each other, forming an 8.

01. Reattaching yarn, CH 1, 1 SC in the same stitch through both legs (pic 03), SC until end of the round.

It’s important to have 36 stitches after this round! (see pic 4, colored in Pink).

The dress ...

Ruffles - ... (Color panties)

Now we are going to crochet the ruffles too the dress! Re-attach the yarn in color of the panties. The
legs are lying away from our body (upside down see pic 01.), the most beautiful side of the ruffles is
facing up.

Ruffles: Attach yarn in the center middle, using the front loops of round 5 (pic 01)…

The face ...

First we are going to make the face and stuff the head.

We will be counting the rounds of the head!!! (see red line Pic. 01)

Nose using skin color, in between round 9 and 10, sew over 2 stitches, 2 or 3 times, so
you can see 2 -3 strands of yarn.
Eyes insert the safety eyes between round 10 and 11, leaving 7 stitches in between,
embroider the eyelashes! (Pic. 02)

Tip! Embroider the eyelashes before securing the eyes. Knot all threads
inside the head.

Sewing the arm ...

Pin the arms with headpins in place. Please check if it’s possible to bring the arms in the praying position
at the front. The arms are sewn from front to back sloping (oblique) to the body (see red line Pic. 05). The
arm is sewn at round 4 counting from the neck.
When both arms are sewn, place the arms in the praying position (pic 06) and sew them together. You can
also attach them to the dress with a stitch.

Little Miss Hope gets her hair done ...

Pull both threads through the curl inside out, through the magic ring (Pic. 01). Now pull the threads
through the MR of the hairpiece and make a knot to secure (Pic. 2). Do this on both sides.

To continue, knot 4 strings of thread (ca 10 -15 cm per string) to the head (Pic. 03). Do this by inserting
the crochet needle inside out through 4 sequential stitches on the border of the hair, pull the thread through
the stitch and pull both threads through the loop.

Now place the hair on the head, as seen in Pic. 04. Place the curls opposite of each other, so 2 ponytails are
created (pic. 4). Turn the short hair strings up and sew them the head. Cut the bangs in front.
We continue on the wings…

Wing (right)
Begin: CH 6

Row 1: 1 SC, dec 2 DC*, 2 SC, CH 1
