GIV MAINTENANCE REVIEW BOARD (MRB) REPORT


1. Maintenance Review Board Report
A. Introduction
This Section contains the GIV / G300 / G400 MRB Report. This report outlines the minimum
maintenance / inspection requirements to be used in the development of an approved continuous
airworthiness maintenance program for airframe, engines, systems and components of the
Gulfstream .
NOTE: The GIV Revision 7, GIV (G300) Revision 6 and GIV (G400) Revision 6 MRB reports have
been combined into one single MRB report titled ″GIV / G300 / G400 ″ released as
Revision 8.

C. Description of the Subsections
(1) Introduction
This Section provides a description of the MRB Report and a general understanding of the
basis for the GIV Maintenance Program. General rules that apply to all maintenance
programs and some specific details of the GIV Maintenance Program.
(2) Systems and Powerplant
This Section provides the basic scheduled tasks and intervals for the system, powerplants
and the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU).
Operators should refer to the Rolls Royce Maintenance Manual, Chapter 5 for additional
engine maintenance program requirements.
(3) Structural Inspection Program
This Section provides the basic scheduled tasks and intervals applicable to the aircraft
structure. These tasks have been developed considering the following types of damage
sources:
• Accidental Damage (AD)
• Fatigue Damage (FD)
• Environmental Deterioration (ED)
(4) Zonal Inspection Program
This Section provides intervals for General Visual Inspection (GVI) of each aircraft zone to
check system / powerplant installations and structure for security for general condition.
(5) Appendices
This Section provides a list of reference documents, zoning diagrams, acronyms list, terms
and definitions, manufactures recommended task for outfitted items and the MSG-3
participants listing.
