Dear Scholarship Program Organizer
MEXT (Monbukagakusho) Scholarships
Since childhood, I have been equipped with a belief that opportunities don't just come. An
opportunity must be pursued in advance with determination and mental readiness. Especially in terms
of education, this is because an education is very important for humans themselves or for the country.
With education, human beings will emerge who have useful abilities and skills, giving rise to human
development. In addition, in the economic development sector, especially for developing countries
(under development countries), it will be a determining factor whether the targeted economic
development is successful or not. So that's why I'm trying to be someone who takes part in this
development and I want to take the opportunity to have higher education that has been offered by the
MEXT development as a scholarship offer in Japan.
Introduce my name is Anissafa Atul Khusna. I am writing this motivation letter because of my
interest in the scholarships offered by MEXT Scholarship. Previously I was a graduate of strata
education (S1) in the Biotechnology Study Program at the State University of Malang. Since the first
day of college, I realized that there is much to be raised from the Indonesian economy, especially in
the health sector. This is because Indonesia still lacks young researchers to become a source of
making medicines or vaccines for various diseases, which makes Indonesia export these goods
thereby increasing state spending (the country's economy is getting bigger). Since I am very
interested in the field of biotechnology, especially in the field of health, I would like to add to my
knowledge in Japan, which according to my studies Japan is a country that has high technology and is
advanced in the field that I am involved in. Later the knowledge that I already have will be my
provision as a young researcher to advance my beloved country, namely Indonesia.
I realized that knowledge is not only obtained from a piece of paper, therefore I participated in
several lecturer organizations and research which would later provide me with experience to be
involved in the world of research. One of the organizations I joined was HMPS Biotechnology
''Genome'' in which I got a lot of experience in organization and relationships. Then I participated in
research with lecturers to gain more knowledge. Not only that, I also took part in competitions such
as the PKM Hunter branch of health which aims to find new alternatives to the use of drugs or cancer
cell therapy. I also developed my English skills by taking courses to be able to study various books
on biotechnology, the majority of which are in English, and I also deepened my Japanese language
skills in preparation for this scholarship.
Armed with this experience, I am even more confident that I can become a young researcher for
Indonesia, where there are not many young researchers specifically in the health sector. Therefore,
for the sake of my goal of building the country, I will seek deeper knowledge, learn from more
professionals so that later I can contribute to my beloved country.
If I am selected to be one of the recipients of this scholarship, I will make a big contribution to
Indonesia as a homeland, and I will also make a contribution to the country that has given this
scholarship to me, namely Japan. By participating in joint research that will be carried out by
researchers in the world. I am very confident that I will be able to make the best use of this
scholarship, and I am also sure that I will be able to make proud achievements during this scholarship
period.
Thus I made this motivation letter, thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
Anissafa Atul Khusna
