Christmas Cupcakes

Crochet pattern

The heigh of finished cupcakes is about 10-11 cm.

You will need:

Yarn Yarn Art Jeans ( 55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 160m/50g) 07, 40, 26 or 90, 01 or
62, 52, 53, 23, 70, 73, 35.
Yarn Alize Cotton Baby Soft (50% cotton, 50% acrylic, 270m/100g) 321,
Gazzal Baby Cotton (60% cotton, 40% acrylic, 165 m/50g) 3443, 3448.

2.25 mm crochet hook and a little bit smaller size, 2 mm crochet hook (hook size may
vary depending on your dencity)
Synthetic fiberfill, hard plastic from table place mat or paper folder, wooden manicure
sticks, 8 mm safety eyes (2 pairs). Big eyed needle, hot glue gun, pink and red oil
pastel for tinting, stiff brush, 1/5-2 cm white synthetic pompom.

Stitch key:

AR – Adjustable Ring (Magic Ring)


ch – chain
sc – single crochet
htr – half treble crochet
dc – double crochet
sl st – slip stitch
dec – decrease
inc – increase
( )*n - repeat combination in brackets n times.

By default, all the details from Yarn Art Jeans and Alize Cotton Baby are crocheted
with 2.25 mm hook, and the details from Gazzal Baby Cotton are crocheted with
2 mm hook.

By default, all spiral rounds are crocheted without turning ch. All back and forth
rows are crocheted with turning chain, unless otherwise noted.

Start crocheting the cupcake’s bottom
with brown yarn:
1. 6 sc in AR.
2. inc*6=12 sc
3. (1 sc, inc)*6=18 sc
4. 1 sc, inc, (2 sc, inc)*5,
1 sc=24 sc
5. (3 sc, inc)*6=30 sc

Cut a circle out of plastic with a diameter

center, make turning ch. When crocheting from

needed. When returning to the center, the

white rows skip one loop of the base. The last
should be the red row, leave a long end.

In theory, there should have been 8 mm eyes,
