3. HEALTH EDUCATION

3. a Subject description
This subject equips students with basic healthy habits and several knowledge about consequence of bad
habits such as playing too much video games, dirty body, food poisoning and Germs. Students need hands-on
experience to learn those habits. The end result is not only they learn for themselves, but they also become a peer-
support for their friends and family.

This subject equips students with beginning level mathematics that includes count, write, compare and
order, add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers from 1 to 100, plus lengths, mass, money, shapes and graphs.

Grammar at this level is at beginning level which includes parts/elements in a sentence, and nouns,

to basic English.

6. ARTS/MOVIES
At Kindergarten level, students are expected to learn and create advance and meaningfulness of Arts and
crafting. Student’s creativity will be enhanced as the product is individual-based.

II. ASSESSMENTS
II. 1 Attendance:
Attendance consists of 10% in total. There are 2 types of absence; Unexcused and Excused. In the former
case, the score is deducted by 15% out of 10, and the latter case is deducted by 1% out of 10.
II. 2 Homework
Homework should be given to students at least 10 per month. Each homework mark is 10/10. In each
homework, teacher should address its topic, skills or objectives based on chapter’s or lesson’s objectives and
learning outcomes. There is a form for teachers to fill in and keep track on student’s performance. Teachers can
apply MCQ, Drawing, Labelling, matching, filling gaps, Short answer questions, essay, read, research, concept
mapping and so forth as assessment methods because it generally covers comprehension and application level
(analyzing and evaluating at higher grade).

II. 3 Quiz
Quiz is used to assess student’s level of comprehension in the classroom. It can be done at the early or the
end of classroom hour. The former is to revise the lesson and the latter is to check student’s engagement and
understanding. Quiz should be given to students at least 08 per month. Each quiz mark is 10/10. In each
homework, teacher should address its chapter or lesson based on its objectives. There is a form for teachers to fill
in and keep track on student’s performance. Teachers can apply MCQ, Short answer questions, filling gaps,
drawing, labelling as assessment methods because it generally covers memorizing and comprehension level.
Monthly test is conducted mostly at week 4 of each month. It includes core, major and skill
subjects. Each subject mark is 100/100. Teachers can use different methods such as MCQ, filling gaps, Questions
and Answers, Vocabulary check, matching, presentation, demonstrating, oral conversation and role play and so
on, depending on subjects and particular objectives/learning outcomes. Monthly test covers mainly student’s
performance (Skills and attitude) and knowledge gained (Memorizing and comprehension). Skill subject,
Music/Art, is included in the monthly tests with the total score of 100/100. The assessment of skill subjects based
mainly on student’s performance, teacher’s observation, peer’s evaluation and self-evaluation.
Trimester test is conducted mostly at week 3 or 4 of the third month. It includes core and major subjects.
Each subject mark is 100/100. Trimester test is paper-based. In each test teachers can divide into different sections
and each section mainly cover memorizing, comprehension and application level (analysis and evaluation for
higher grade) based on lesson’s objectives and learning outcomes.
Skill subject, Music/Art, is included in the trimester tests with the total score of 100/100. The assessment
of skill subjects based mainly on cognitive and knowledge development, student’s performance, teacher’s
observation, peer’s evaluation and self-evaluation.
Semester test is conducted mostly at week 3 or 4 or the sixth month. It includes core and major subjects.
Each subject mark is 100/100. Semester test is paper-based. In each test teachers can divide into different sections
and each section mainly cover comprehension and application level (analysis and evaluation for higher grade)
based on lesson’s objectives and learning outcomes. Music and Art is not included in semester test.

III. OBLIGATIONS
Students are not only expected to attend the class without any classroom participation and engagement.
Teachers have to check student’s participation and engagement in terms of:
Students must firmly hold and express their morality and ethics in the classroom. Moral, ethics and
discipline include:
- Respecting teachers and classmates such as their appearance, nationality, cultures, languages, ages, sex
and talents
- No undesired behavior such as littering, spitting, bullying, screaming, playing and talking without
permission, fighting, destroying school’s or other’s property, running and so on.
- Listening to teacher
Students are expected to be responsible for their study. They are not allowed to:
