General Checks and Inspections of the Panel

Number Inspection Result

1 Ensure that both side panels have an earth grid OK NOT OK


and a firm panel earthing.
2 Verify that all Horizontal, Vertical, and Control OK NOT OK
Bus bars are securely fastened.
3 Inspect the Main bus bars at the ACB, MCCB, OK NOT OK
FSU, and VFD terminals for tightness.
4 Check for any open Circuits on all CT secondary OK NOT OK
circuits.
4 Verify that all feeder components' power wires OK NOT OK
and control circuits are tight.
5 Verify the correct voltage. CT/PT terminations (if OK NOT OK
any) at all KWH/MFM/Relays.
6 Check the delivery of the rated control voltage OK NOT OK
according to the drawing.
7 Check that the relays, KWH meters, and control OK NOT OK
equipment have the proper rated Aux voltage.
8 Make sure that the control and power circuits OK NOT OK
have fuses with the appropriate ratings.
9 Check that all feeders' inter-panel and OK NOT OK
marshalling wiring is done in accordance with the
drawing.
10 Before charging, make sure that all control fuses OK NOT OK
and future interlock links have been removed.
11 Before the VFD Panel is charged for the first time, OK NOT OK
make sure the feeder door is closed.
12 Check for any damage caused by transportation OK NOT OK
or erection. (List all damaged goods).
13 Prior to charging the panel, make sure it has OK NOT OK
been well cleaned inside.
