A Terrifying Experience At The Stream

During the December vacation, my best friend and I decided to
go fishing at the stream near my house. We brought along
fishing nets and pail.
We went into the water to catch some fish. Half an hour later,
we managed to catch some small fish. Then, we came out of the
water and realized that there were some leeches sticking on our
legs. We were in terror.
We tried to shake off the leeches but it did not work. My
brother pinned me down and ripped one of the leeches of my
foot. If hurt and I screamed.
My father heard the scream and came to help. He put some salt
on the leeches and they dropped off after a while. If was an
unforgettable experience.
Late To School
-late – uniform – ran – downstairs – bicycle – rode – worried –
punish – locked – security guard – weekend – laughed
Last Monday, Jia Qi woke up late. It was already 8o’clock. So, he
quickly put on his uniform and grabbed his bag. Then, he ran
downstairs to the kitchen. He put an apple in his bag.
After that, he ran out the house and ride his bicycle as fast as he
could to the school. He was worried that his teacher would
punish him. When he arrived, he noticed that the gate was
locked.
The security guard told him own mistake and cycled home. He
told his parents the story and they laughed about it.
A Snake Encounter
-sweep – compound – leaves – snake – screamed – firemen –
found – planks – sent – thanked
One day, when my mother was sweeping the dried leaves at the
compound, she felt something soft on her foot. When she
looked down, she was perplexed and mesmerized. It was a huge
snake!
My mother gave out a bloodcurdling scream and ran back to
the house as fast as she could. She immediately called the
fireman.
The fireman arrived shortly but the snake was no where to be
found. They looked around and finally found the snake hidden
under some planks. The snake lifted its head as if signaling
danger.
After a while, the snake was caught and would be sent to the
forest. My mother thanked the fireman.

During the holidays, Jun Han and his friends went fishing. They
cycled to a beautiful lake near their house. They brought along
their fishing rods baits and pails. Jun Han’s mother packed some
delicious food and drinks for them.
They left their bicycles under a shady tree. Then, they sat on the
big rocks by the lake and started fishing. After half of one hour,
Jun Han felt a tug from his fishing line. When, he finally pulled it
out, it was a colorful fish. He was excited.
They managed to caught some fish on that day. They went
home with the fish in the evening. Jun Han looked forward to
the next fishing trip.
A Fire Accident
House called firefighters climbed
Broke injured neighbours on fire
Fire station arrived ladder put out
Hospital gathered
When I was cycling back home from the playground this
evening, I saw a crowd gathered near a house. A column of
thick black smoke billowed out of the windows. The house was
on fire!
The neighbours immediately called the fire station. The
firefighters arrived shortly after. They sprayed streams of water
into the fire to control it. One of them climbed a ladder and
broke the window up stairs to save the trapped people. The
injured were sent to hospital. After half an hour, the neighbours
who gathered there heaved a sigh of relief when the raging fire
was put out.
The building was destroyed. However, they were thankful that
everyone was safe.

A holiday in Cameron highlands

My parent make it a point to take family to a beach resort for a
holiday at least once on year. My siblings and I look forward to
these trips as we love swimming in the sea.

This year, however, my father suggested that we go to a
highland resort instead. When he mooted the idea to us, there
were groans of disappointment from all of us. A holiday without
a beach was unheard of in our family. How would we spend our
time? We would be bored to death!

Nevertheless, my father was adamant that we try something
different for a change. So, reluctantly we packed our bags and
made our way to Cameron Highlands. We arrived there and
checked into the bungalow my father had booked. It was a
pleasant surprise to us that the bungalow was very spacious and
well-furnished, and there was even a fireplace! We were thrilled
to have rooms of our own.

We visited the tea plantations, the flower nurseries, the
strawberry farm and the fresh markets. We also took long walks
and enjoyed the cool weather, which was a pleasant change from
the scorching sun in Kuala Lumpur.

We also spent a lot of time indoors enjoying each other’s
company. We also played card and board games. If was nice to
see my mother taking a break from the kitchen and relaxing with
her storybooks.

On the fourth day, we were rather sad to leave. All of us had
enjoyed the break immensely. Although it was not the holiday
that we had expected, it turned out to be one of the most
enjoyable trips as the family had enjoyed quality time with each
other. We had definitely changed our tune about highland
holidays.

During last weekend, my parents decided to take us to Cameron

Highlands. In the morning, we packed our clothes and loaded
them into my father's car. We hit the road at 7 a.m. in my father's
Suzuki Swift.

The road to Cameron Highlands was crooked and my mother
was a bit lightheaded. The road was filled with fog. The
scenery along the road was eye pleasing. We chit-chatted along
the way. After a five hours drive, we arrived at our destination.
Cameron Highland has cool mountain air.
Although our country is facing haze problem now, the air there
was still free from pollution. It is a form escapism from all the
hustle and bustle of the city life - translating into another
dimension of peace and serenity.
去金马仑高原的路很弯，妈妈有点头晕。 路上充满了雾气。

First, we visited to the bee farm. We could see bees flying freely
and pollinating. We could purchased some pure honey and
honey products sold there. At first, I was scared to see the bees
flying freely as I thought it would sting us but soon, I realized
that they wouldn't sting us if we didn't disturb them. Then, we
moved to our second location.

Our second location was the Boh Tea Plantation. The teas were
planted on terraced hill slopes. We also did not miss the chance
to take some screenshots there. We also saw a waterfall there.
The sound of water cascading from the top of the
mountain was soothing to our ears and nerves. We were
mesmerized by the crystal-clear water. Our warm bodies chilled
when the cold mountain water caressed our body. As we were
enjoying the waterfall, it started to rain and we dashed to find a
spot to take shelter.

After the heavy downpour, we decided to stop at one of the
many strawberry parks in Cameron Highlands. Before leaving
the tea plantation, we made sure to buy some fresh tea. We
decided to visit the Big Red Strawberry Farm. A lot of
strawberries were cultivated there. Salad and lettuce plants are
also planted there. We had our tea time there. We bought some
strawberries and souvenirs to take back home. 大雨过后，我们

As the sun slowly set under the horizon, we knew it was time to
say goodbye to this awesome place. We had a whale of a time in
Cameron Highlands and we truly enjoyed ourselves.

Unfortunately, her grandmother heard it and suggestion them
cycled to a beautiful lake near their house and they brought their
rods baits and pails. Hui Jie sibling brought some clothes
because they wanted to swim. They find a shady tree and sat on
the big rocks by the lake and started fishing. Suddenly, her
father teaching Hui Jie how to fishing.
After half of one hour, Hui Jie felt a tug from his fishing line.
When, she finally pulled it out, it was a big fish. She was excited
because it was she first time to fishing.
