1: INTRODUCTION

Lalbandi is a municipality located in the Sarlahi district of Nepal. It is


situated in the southern part of the country and is known for its
diverse culture and beautiful landscapes. The municipality covers an
area of 89.95 square kilometers and has a population of around 40,000
people. Lalbandi is known for its agricultural productivity and is
considered one of the major food baskets of the country. Rice, wheat,
maize, sugarcane, and vegetables are the major crops grown in the
area. The municipality is also home to a number of small-scale
industries such as weaving, knitting, and pottery.
The municipality is well-connected to other parts of the country
through a network of roads and highways. The Tribhuvan
International Airport in Kathmandu is the nearest international
airport, located approximately 150 kilometers away from Lalbandi.
The municipality is governed by a mayor and a municipal council,
which is responsible for the overall development and administration of
the area. Education and healthcare are among the key areas of focus
for the municipality, with several schools, colleges, and hospitals
operating in the area.
Overall, Lalbandi is a vibrant and rapidly developing municipality that
offers a unique blend of traditional culture and modern development.

2 OBJECTIVES

The Overall objective of consulting services is to conduct Detail


individual land boundary survey of the Lalbandi Municipality.

3 SCOPE OF THE WORK

A) Detail Individual Land Boundary Survey

The scope of work includes the following.

 To carry out data collection from Municipality office/ ward office.


 To carry out detailed Cadastral survey in 1:2500 Scale.
 Plot Survey Data in GIS
 Report Preparation

4 Output

 To carry out the detailed boundary survey by Total Station and RTK
Coordinate provided from Municipality office.
 To prepare the Cadastral map in GIS Format.
 To prepare final Report.

5 REPORTING

We shall prepare and submit the reports as specified below. GIS Software
should be used to prepare all map. All reporting shall be in English.
Inception, draft and final reports will submitted to the Bedkot
Municipality as specified below. Reports shall be submitted in digital copy
as well as in 2 printed form in A4 size paper. Similarly, all the map shall
also be submitted in digital as well as in 1 printed forms. The drawings
shall not be in less than A3 size of paper.

 Inception/Field Report:

The consultant should submit Incepting/Field Report in a week after


complete of Agreement.

 Draft Report
The consultant should submit Draft Report after Two week of Total
Land Measurement.

 Final Report
The final report should incorporate written comments and
suggestions after the draft final report. The consultant should
submit 3 sets hard copies and 1 set of CD.

Report should cover but not limited to following area.


Survey, Cadastral Map Preparation
The technical analysis is to be made within the boundary of project and
should focus primarily on the followings.
o Detail cadastral survey &Cadastral map in 1:2500 scale.
The team is required to give methodology revealing steps and activities
toundertake the various components of the project that the
implementation will be smooth and face minimum of unexpected
problems. Work schedule should indicate the different activities, broadly
differentiating the field and deskwork activities works. Schedule is on
week-to-week basic within the stipulated time framework.
The revelation of methods to analyze the various information and data is
also very important and it is advised to outline them as a demonstration
of sound analytical process adopted.

6 TIME SCHEDULE OF REPORT SUBMISSION

The Consultant has to prepare and submit the reports specified below.

7 APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY

Field Visit
The core team of the professionals assigned for the study shall visit the
site and conduct preliminary walk through survey of the study area to
gather the information that will help to formulate the planning of the field
works.

Preparation of Detailed Field and Office Work

Time Schedule
The Consultant shall prepare the detailed field and office work time
schedule for the timely completion of the study. It will help the Consultant
to monitor the progress and if needed to prepare revised schedule to
finish the job in time

Preparation of the Draft and Final Report

Preparation of Draft Final Report and Submission


The Draft Final Report shall be prepared and submitted to Bedkot
Municipality for comments.

Preparation of Final Report and Submission


The Consultant shall incorporate the comments and suggestions received
from Lalbandi Municipality to prepare the final report. Specified number
of reports shall be submitted to the Client.
