A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES OF SANGGUNIANG
KABATAAN PILIPOG, CORDOVA, CEBU WITH BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER 00-0-05388-790-
1 WITH THE DEVELOPMENT BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES-MANDAUE FROM FORMER
SK CHAIRPERSON JOVEN L. CASUL AND FORMER SK TREASURER MARY GRACE T.
BAGUIO TO NEWLY-ELECTED SK CHAIRPERSON CIRILO C. WAHING JR. AND NEWLY-
APPOINTED SK TREASURER JOHN PHILIP B. TAMPUS.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Republic Act No. 10742, otherwise known as the “Sangguniang Kabataan
Reform Act of 2015”, under Section 20 which states that “The Sangguniang Kabataan shall have financial
independence in its operations, disbursements and encashment of their fund, income and expenditures”,
WHEREAS, the same section provides that the Sangguniang Kabataan funds shall be deposited in
the name of the Sangguniang Kabataan of the concerned barangay in a government-owned bank situated
in or nearest to its areas of jurisdiction with the Sangguniang Kabataan chairperson and the Sangguniang
Kabataan treasurer as the official signatories;
WHEREAS, ten percent (10%) of the general fund of the barangay shall be set aside for the
Sangguniang Kabataan. The Sangguniang Kabataan shall appropriate the Sangguniang Kabataan funds in
lump sum which shall be disbursed solely for youth development and empowerment purposes;

WHEREAS, SK Chairperson, Hon. Cirilo C. Wahing Jr, and SK Treasurer, Mr. John Philip B.
Tampus, are the authorized persons duly designated as official signatories of the Sangguniang Kabataan
Bank Account;
NOW THEREFORE, on motion by Hon. Philip D. Legara and duly seconded by all the
Sangguniang members present be it;
RESOLVED, that the council of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Pilipog, Cordova, Cebu
approves and authorizes the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Pilipog, Cordova, Cebu to avail of the
products and services of the Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) including, but no limited to, the
opening of deposit account/s with DBP;
RESOLVED, that any two (2) of the following officer/s of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay
Pilipog, Cordova, Cebu whose names, positions, and signatures appear hereunder be, as there are hereby
authorized to sign, draw, execute, deliver, and endorse checks, drafts, bills of exchange, withdrawal slips,
order of payments and similar instruments for negotiation, payment, deposit, collection, withdrawal or
any transaction of the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Pilipog, Cordova, Cebu’s deposit account/s,
and to do all acts and things necessary, proper and convenient under the premises for and in behalf of the
corporation;

RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED to CHANGING THE AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES
OF SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN PILIPOG, CORDOVA, CEBU WITH BANK ACCOUNT
NUMBER 00-0-05388-790-1 WITH THE DEVELOPMENT BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES-
MANDAUE FROM FORMER SK CHAIRPERSON JOVEN L. CASUL AND FORMER SK
TREASURER MARY GRACE T. BAGUIO TO NEWLY-ELECTED SK CHAIRPERSON CIRILO C.
WAHING JR. AND NEWLY-APPOINTED SK TREASURER JOHN PHILIP B. TAMPUS.
RESOLVED FURTHER, to submit copy furnish of this Resolution to the office of the Punong
Barangay, Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) – Mandaue City Branch, Department of Interior
and Local Government Office (DILGO) of the Municipality of Cordova, Cebu, and to any other
concerned agency for their perusal and documentation.
