In Affirmative Sentence In Negative Sentence Exercise


Auxiliary verb [“have” (has, have, had), Auxiliary verb এর পর not বসলব ও verb/ a) He is a hardworking person.
“be” (is, am, are, been, being, was, were), adj/ adv/ noun টির antonym বসলব b) I shall remember you.
“do” (does, do, did), “will” (will, would), c) He was a deceiver.
“shall” (shall, should), “may” (may, might), d) She is a talented artist.

বালকের মালে Auxiliary Verb না থাকলেও শুধু Subject এর পর tense & person অনুযায়ী do i) He walks fast.

Note on Exceptional voice changing

Rule - 1

Use the preposition ‘At’ (If the subject is a thing, feeling, any activity, etc.) and use the preposition
‘With’ (If the subject is Human) instead of ‘by’.
For the sentences with ‘surprised, annoyed, shocked, alarmed,
disappointed, displeased, distressed, astonished, laughed’ as the main verb.

Extended Note

Surprised: Use "surprised" when referring to a feeling of astonishment or amazement caused by an


unexpected event, action, or situation:

• I was surprised by the sudden change in weather.


• She was pleasantly surprised by the gift from her friend.

Note that "surprised" is generally followed by the preposition "by" to indicate the cause of the surprise. For

Annoyed: Use "annoyed" to describe a feeling of irritation or displeasure caused by someone or something:

• I was annoyed by the noise from the construction site.


• She was annoyed with her friend for canceling their plans at the last minute.

Note that "annoyed" is typically followed by the preposition "with" to indicate the person or thing annoying.
For example, "I was annoyed with my neighbor for playing loud music late at night" or "She was annoyed
with her boss for micromanaging her work." However, "at" can also be used in some cases, such as "I was
annoyed at the traffic jam" or "She was annoyed at how long the wait was."

Shocked: Use "shocked" to describe a feeling of great surprise or astonishment, often caused by something
unexpected or extreme:

• I was shocked by the news of his sudden death.


• She was shocked to see the damage from the storm.

Note that "shocked" is typically followed by the preposition "by" to indicate the thing or event causing the
shock. For example, "I was shocked by the accident's severity" or "She was shocked by the election's
results." However, "at" can also be used in some cases, such as "I was shocked at the lack of support from
my colleagues" or "She was shocked at the prices of the items in the store."
