Core Competencies Reflection
Personal Awareness & Responsibility
- I am learning to take care of myself by having proper hygiene, by showering daily,
brushing my teeth, using deodorant, washing my face, changing my clothes regularly, ex.
These practices make me a more pleasant person to be around and make me feel nice
and fresh which allows me to be more productive.
- Setting goals for myself involves identifying what I want to achieve, breaking it down into
smaller, actionable steps, and establishing a timeframe for completion. Start by clarifying
my objectives, ensuring they are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time
bound. Regularly review and adjust my goals as needed to stay aligned with my
aspirations and priorities.
- Taking personal responsibility for my actions involves acknowledging my role in the
outcomes I experience and being accountable for the consequences. It also entails
reflecting on my choices, learning from mistakes, and actively seeking to make amends
or improvements when necessary.
Social Responsibility
- My strong friendships are a testament to my genuine warmth and loyalty. The bonds I’ve
cultivated reflect my ability to listen, support, and connect deeply with others, fostering
an enriching and enduring sense of camaraderie.
- I approach problem-solving with a calm and rational mindset, seeking solutions through
open communication and collaboration. My ability to empathize with other perspectives
and maintain a peaceful demeanor fosters harmonious resolutions, ensuring conflicts
