A RESOLUTION ON CONDUCTING SEMINAR WORKSHOP ON CHILD PROTECTION
WHEREAS, ensuring the safety, well-being, and protection of our students is a fundamental
responsibility of educational institutions;
WHEREAS, providing information and training on child protection is crucial in creating a safe
and secure learning environment;
WHEREAS, it is imperative to equip both educators and students with the knowledge and skills
necessary to recognize, prevent, and respond to any form of abuse, violence, or exploitation;
WHEREAS, Del Carmen Integrated School is committed to fostering a safe and nurturing
environment for every child;
WHEREAS, a comprehensive Seminar Workshop on Child Protection is deemed necessary to
achieve this objective;
RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT Del Carmen Integrated School shall
organize and conduct a comprehensive Seminar Workshop on Child Protection for all year
levels, from Grades 1 to 12;
RESOLVED FURTHER THAT the workshop sessions will cover topics such as recognizing
signs of abuse, understanding the importance of reporting, creating a safe and supportive
environment, and promoting respectful and healthy relationships among students;

A RESOLUTION ON PASSING RECOMMENDATIONS TO THE SCHOOL HEAD
REGARDING CONCERNS, POLICIES, PROGRAMS, AND INTERVENTIONS RAISED BY
STAKEHOLDERS
WHEREAS, the School Governing Council (SGC) is committed to promoting the welfare and
best interests of the students at Del Carmen Integrated School;
WHEREAS, the SGC recognizes the importance of addressing concerns, developing policies,
implementing programs, and interventions that positively impact the educational environment;
WHEREAS, the stakeholders have raised specific concerns and proposed programs, namely:
a. "Water is Life" - to provide learners with water for health and sanitation purposes by installing
water connections.
b. "Kapaligiran Ko, Kayamanan Ko" - to instill in the learners' minds the relevance of proper
waste segregation and to show appreciation for recycled waste through earning additional
income;
WHEREAS, these programs align with the goals of enhancing the overall well-being and
educational experience of the students;
RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the School Governing Council passes the
following recommendations to the School Head:
Implement the "Water is Life" program to provide learners with adequate water for health and
sanitation purposes by installing water connections within the school premises.
Initiate the "Kapaligiran Ko, Kayamanan Ko" program to educate learners about proper waste
segregation, instilling environmental consciousness, and exploring opportunities to generate
additional income through recycling initiatives.
RESOLVED FURTHER THAT the School Head shall convene relevant committees, involve
stakeholders, and allocate necessary resources to ensure the successful implementation of these
programs.

A RESOLUTION RESULTING FROM DISCUSSION WITH SCHOOL COMMITTEES AND
STAKEHOLDERS ON THE ROLE OF THE SCHOOL GOVERNING COUNCIL (SGC) IN
OVERSEEING SCHOOL PLANNING AND RESOURCE USE
WHEREAS, the School Governing Council (SGC) recognizes its critical role as an oversight
body in the planning and resource allocation processes of Del Carmen Integrated School;
WHEREAS, the SGC has engaged in a comprehensive discussion with various school
committees and stakeholders, aiming to collaboratively address concerns and develop strategic
plans for the improvement of school infrastructure and resources;
WHEREAS, specific stakeholders, Dante Bargamento of Tinago Eagle's Club and Alvin De
Gracia of Barangay Council, have committed support to the project "Stampede No More," which
aims to provide a wide and safe stairway for the learners;
WHEREAS, the provision of a wide and safe stairway aligns with the overall goal of ensuring
the safety and well-being of the students;
RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED THAT the School Governing Council
acknowledges and appreciates the commitment of Dante Bargamento of Tinago Eagle's Club and
Alvin De Gracia of Barangay Council to the "Stampede No More" project.
RESOLVED FURTHER THAT the SGC supports and endorses the inclusion of the "Stampede
No More" project in the school's planning and resource allocation, ensuring that it is prioritized
in the upcoming budget and construction plans.
RESOLVED FURTHER THAT the School Head shall coordinate with the relevant committees,
stakeholders, and local authorities to facilitate the timely implementation of the "Stampede No
More" project.
