Flower Stem 16 inches long x 0.08 inches diameter (40cm x 2mm)
hot melt adhesive

Instructions
Flower
1. Let’s start with the foundation chain: 45 ch

R1: from 3rd st of hook ( dc2 in each st ) * 2 times

R2: ( dc, 3ch picot st ) * 13 times.

R3: ( dc, 4ch picot st ) * 13 times.

R4: ( dc, 5ch picot st ) * 13times.

R5: dc 2 in each st, hdc, 1ch, cut long tail.

Leaf
1. Reserve 15-20cm of yarn to make

(5ch, from 3rd st of hook 3 sc) * 6 times

(6ch, from 3rd st of hook 4sc) *6 times

(7ch, from 3rd st of hook 5sc) *6 times

(8ch, from 3rd st of hook sc,4hdc,sc,1ch), cut long tail.

Assemble
1. Apply hot melt adhesive to the back of the flower and gently wrap it around the flower
stem.
2. Take the tail of the leaf and wrap it around the stem, securing it in place.
3. Apply hot melt adhesive to the leaf and wrap it around the stem, overlapping the flower
slightly.
4. To create a realistic stem appearance, wrap green yarn tightly around the stem. Cut a
long tail of yarn and secure it with hot melt adhesive.
