Call, text, or email Tiffany or Monika if you need
assistance or have any questions or concerns! Why come to the CRK summer program?
We at Cub Club at Creekside Elementary School take great pride in the
quality of our childcare. Although your child will be coming to school to
attend Cub Club, we make it a top priority to make sure they are having
fun and having a summer, camp-like experience! With affordable rates
and flexible scheduling, use us as your “go-to” choice to get the kids out
of the house and active! Registration and payment are all online, making
it easy for you to plan.
What should I expect when dropping my child off every day?
You will have peace of mind knowing that your child will not only be
having fun but also be safe, learning, and building new relationships.
Every single day in our program is well-planned and detail oriented with
our campers in mind. The start and end of our days consist of free choice,
where children have the opportunity to engage in unstructured play in
the gym and the cafeteria. The middle parts of our day will be when we
will either be on a field trip or be involved in theme-based crafts, science
projects, engineering projects, dramatic play, cooking/baking, fitness,
technology, math, music, and much more!
Whatis the procedure for picking up and dropping off my child?
When you drop your student off and pick them up each day, you will be
checking them in and out on our Cub Club iPads. You will have a pin
number that is unique to you, like an electronic signature. Each person
who brings or picks up the child will have their own unique pin that
should not be shared with anyone.
If you are parked in the main parking lot of Creekside Elementary, look at
the building and walk to your left between the trash containers and the
school building. You will find yourself on a sidewalk that leads you to
large glass windows. The Cub Club entrance will be the door on your
right. Please ring the buzzer on the right wall, and a staff member will
happily let you in. Please be sure you are walking your student in every
day. What should I send my child with every day?
ALL items below are REQUIRED every single day! Please only drop off
with everything checked.
* Non-microwavable lunch (unless otherwise noted on the calendar and
menu)
© 3+ snacks
* Water bottle
* Sunscreen applied before arrival
© Hat
* Weather appropriate attire
Unless otherwise noted on the calendars, it is CRUCIAL that each student
brings a non-microwaveable lunch, plenty of snacks, and a lot of water
every single day of camp. We engage in many activities that work up an
appetite, so we ask that you send enough food to fuel their bodies. We
also ask parents to please keep in mind the activities we have planned for
the day and dress their students appropriately. If we are outside all day;
sunscreen, sunglasses, and weather-appropriate attire are required. For
swimming field trips, appropriate swim attire is required.
Sunscreen rules and application? (Sunscreen permission form attached)
Cub Club will be providing Banana Boat SPF 30 sunscreen to all students
with written permission forms. If any student has an allergy/cannot use
provided sunscreen, please be sure to provide sunscreen from home in a
labeled Ziploc bag with first and last name. This sunscreen will be left at
school for the summer for use. Please also keep in mind that students
cannot reapply ANY sunscreen without this form completed and in our
file.
L.Have the sunscreen form completed and return it on the first day of
attending the summer program.
2.Sunscreen must be applied at home prior to attending every single
day. THIS IS REQUIRED.
3.If bringing sunscreen from home, please bring in a labeled plastic bag,
to keep at school all summer. We must keep all sunscreen out of
reach of children while in our program. Please do not have students
keep sunscreen in their backpacks! What is the bus departure time on the calendar?
The bus departure time is when the bus leaves the school's parking lot. If
the departure time is 10:30, the bus will leave the lot at 10:30. Please
ensure you arrive at school at least 15 minutes before so you are not
chasing the bus down! This also allows us to adequately prepare your
child for the day's fun, including applying sunscreen, reviewing rules, and
preparing lunch and field trip shirts.
Can | send my child with their personal electronics (tablet, laptop, iPod,
etc.)
We do not allow students to bring their personal electronics to our
program and ask parents to ensure they are kept at home. We have
plenty of electronics that students can access during quiet time, free
time, and for various activities. in reality, we would much rather have our
students spend their day socially active and engaging in off-screen
activities!
If my child does not come on a day | have already paid for, can | get a
refund, credit, or transfer to another day?
No. Due to staffing, planning, and organizing for the exact number of
students we have, we do not allow any refunds, credits, or transfers.
Thank you for understanding!
When should I sign my child(ren) up?
Calendars for each month open up on the first of the previous month
(July's calendar opens on June 1st). Yet, parents have up until NOON the
day before signing up for the following day. Families who sign up before
the 25th of each month for the following month (i.e., for all of July before
June 25th) will receive a $.50 discount/session. If utilizing this method,
please remember the no refund/credit/transfer policy stated above! For
planning and quality programming reasons, we kindly ask that parents
sign up as soon as they are confident they need childcare/are able to! All
students must be signed up for childcare before attending the program.
We cannot take late adds or drop-ins!Please remember that the only instance we set a capacity on our days
is field trips! We cannot exceed a certain number due to bus and venue
accommodations. Please plan and sign up accordingly to claim your
spot on these exciting trips!
Finally, Tiffany will send out weekly e-mails to detail what to
expect for the upcoming week, including field trips, in-house
days, and other announcements. Please be sure to read all e-
mails in addition to referencing the attached calendars ona
daily basis!
Thank you so much for your support and for always
going above and beyond to do your part in making our
summers successful! We appreciate our families so
much!
